i find that in futures, the "time" element in ict concept is much much more prominent and aggressive. there's a lot of macros intraday.
midnight open, london silver bullet, opening range gap, 8.30 open, 9.30 open, 9.30 FVG, 10am silver bullet, 50 minute to 10 minute time window,
lunch macro, lunch hour, 1pm open, pm silver bullet, 3pm power hour.
like holy crap, there's a lot to take in.

Bro you really gotta have your plan in mind and look for breaks of structure fair value gaps etc. Whatever you want... You just have to take advantage of these things and dont go in when you think you should go in. Even when the market is trending you need to look for the best setup and if its even worth to go in right now... Keep up the work man
One thing that helped me be profitable in futures is staying away from any timeframes less than 5 minute.
Im seeing it more and more also but 3 min is the key

@@divinasi0n eventually he will learn, and I do not understand why he is trying to change his trading strategy, maybe it is because I have traded futures in all my 5 years but I think the strategy he used in forex can work on futures with a bit of a tweak on the trading session time obviously but he will eventually get it.

Hey Kimmel. When trading futures look at 20 minute time intervals starting 20 past the hour & ten to the hour. I find 1:2 works best personally. Hope that helps 👍

@@user-di1dw6fp3r I’m funded with 5 accounts & I trade the 1 minute & 30 second based off the 15 & 5 minute chart. Everyone always says don’t do this don’t do that but it’s all noise. Trade what you have backtested & forward tested within your plan- that’s it.
As for futures if you backtest/forward test whichever your entry strategy you will find the most volume occurs within those two 20 minute windows each hour & your most high probability trades will form & execute within those timeframes.

Will say it's brave of you to expose yourself like this. Many influencers would not have the courage to show how bad of a trader they are. Hopefully you can draw strength from it and enforce some rules or you will remain all over the place and a victim to your own emotions, which is the opposite of consistency. Show up with a plan and know what to do including trade management, no feelings follow the rules.
CME Futures open @ 8:30am CENTRAL US time (CHICAGO), not NY time. Incase thats why you were seeing the moves before your window.

Plan your trade. Trade your plan. Use Limit Orders. Set and Forget. Go about your day and just play the probabilities from your back tested strategy.

From someone who trades NQ daily also an ICT student... unless your swing trading a 50point stop on nas is way to much 35 points max personally mine are usually 20-25... 50 points your definitely on the wrong side especially for a while look at how many points the opening range are and youll realize what i mean.

Kimmel, If you want to trade NQ before market open, focus on 7:45-8:15 Macro. Don't open trades after 8:30 till 9:30, or even till 9:40.
