    She came out in 1977. The same year the Mission purse Bionic Woman doll was released.

    Excellent review. I have all 3 seasons and had all the Bionic dolls. My negotiating Wonder Woman had to help Jaimie out w/ the Fembot. The first time he pulls that face mask off it blew me away!

    I just purchased a Fembot doll off eBay to add to my Bionic collection! Nice to see your video to have an idea of what she is like. Thank you for the upload!

    I never knew there was a Fembot doll until 5-10 years ago when I saw the commercial here on RUclips. Your doll collection is in great shape considering that they're the original ones you had :)

    Great video. My new boxed Fembot arrived today in mint condition. This remains my favourite TV Show and thanks for sharing what a great show and incredible toy Kenner manufactured at the time.

    The Farrah doll melting issue is from the plastic touching the rubber .. there is a way to sort it but it takes time powder and clear plastic ( the sort you would photo copy on to) cut to size of arm joint and make a small circle cut into it half way them but that between the rubber and arm socket stops the two touching with the legs melting onto body simply wrap the tops of the legs with food wrap and re dress doll .. of course if there damage that wont help .. but it would keep her leg on

    I had a "Bionic Woman" action figure. I miss it. Recently, I bought the series on DVD, and the Six Million Dollar man series, too. Dr. David Bruce Banner portrayed by Bill Bixby was my crush, besides Gene Wilder as "Willy Wonka" at the time.

    In the Bionic Woman series. I don't know why exactly, maybe it was the fact it was a robot that you could remove the face and it had those staring eyes. But those Fembots creeped me out. I really didn't like them and I always felt sorry for Jaime Sommers having to deal with those creepy things. Funny that they made a doll out of that character, but they aren't so creepy at only 12 inches high. I also found the movie Westworld ( 1973 ) terrifying for the same reason. I wonder if they were a little inspired by that film in creating the Fembots? By the way, you kept your toys so pristine it's amazing. It's like you knew they'd be valuable someday.

      +Stardustceiling Yea, thanks. I did realize after shooting this that I was missing the little gun or communicator or whatever she came with. I had completely forgotten about that, so that must have disappeared right away out of the box. I'm looking at photos of her original box online right now to see just what that little thing was, I have so little recollection of it. And yea, Fembots were kinda creepy! I've never seen "Westworld," though.

    I spent $1500 to buy three brand-new in the box with the seal never broken I love them I was eight years ago when these came outand I never got one always wanted one opened one of them and it is hard to fix the hairpiece The way you fix yours the hair piece on my brand-new out-of-the-box I can't get it to look like The one you have any tips to get it to look right thank you

      +Roger Stout Yea, that's kind of a fragile piece. I've only ever combed mine to get it to curl that way. Maybe hair gel?

    Use some downy fabric softener on the dolls hair. You will be surprised by the results.

    I just bought my first vintage Fembot to complete my basic line of Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman figures. Kenner's Mine comes with the rare, often lost, little white weapon.

      @BRBTVcom  8 лет назад +1

      Yup, my weapon was lost long ago. Congrats -- she's a beauty.

      Thanks! I'm freeing my "new" 40 year old Fembot from her packaging prison! She was on the carded insert, without the box. I figure she looks better with all her accessories on display rather than on that insert.

    • @BRBTVcom
      @BRBTVcom  8 лет назад +1

      Yea, she deserves to be out of the box.

    Regards the hair .. you are using the wrong brush :) you should try a wide tooth comb brushing bottom to top it will comb it nicely and wont frizz or damage the hair if you want to sort the hair simple condition the hair comb with wide tooth comb flat and pour water over the hair with the doll upside down and the hair will be nice and flat towel dry and style with wide-tooth comb but the fembot doll you have is in fab condition the outfit looks new kenner made such lovely toy's we never got fembot in the uk :( but i have a bionic woman doll years later i got fembot its a fab item ..

    I'm jealous!!! I want one ,but they are the most expensive now. the only thing I didn't like about the fembot doll is that there is no robotic parts to her body...but she is still a cool doll..

    Thank you for answering my question about the red wig you know the black scarf that goes on her head I will be more than happy to pay you for it and shipping if you could find me an extra one maybe you have an extra one or know someone who doesI will give you $35 for it if you can't find me an extra one thank you for your time

      +Roger Stout Thanks, Roger, but I wouldn't be able to sell mine. I will keep an eye out for one, though. Your best bet has got to be eBay, or if there's a message board for the Bionic figures.
