I make 22k per month(salary), and I drive a 21 Camry xse hybrid fully paid off. I Can 100% afford an M4 comp considering all my other monthly expenses, but y’all have no idea how convienient it is to have a car that BARLEY drinks any gas 😂 I’ll live my dream soon though
I got a 2022 Honda Civic Touring that I used to rent out to people on Turo but now use as my daily and I love it. It's a solid car with an interior almost the same size as the new body Accord. It gets about 40 mpg regularly and will balance things out when my G82 Comp arrives

It's good know know what others are paying for comparison although I have a feeling I'll be paying way more as these prices seem to be going up. Might just have to stick with what I've got.

For a daily for an enthusiast who has a proper sports car, especially in NYC... there's only one answer. RWD Lexus. RC350, IS350, GS350. Them shit ride SOOO SMOOTH and QUIET over fucked up roads and you know its not gonna break down even with shitty stop and go 200k miles. Most expensive thing on those will be tires. No lie Lexus is the shit for a daily. If you gonna pay $300 for a Civic, I might as well pay $200 more and get a low mileage used IS350 or GS350. anything over 3% is high. You can refinance that at like 2.5 or less, 0 fees with a credit union. I did it 3 times. I let the dealer give me whatever rate they want. IDGAF bc I'm refinancing that shit right away. When the loan is that big 0.5% will buy you a few NICE meals per year.

Cars are cheap in the states, they charge us an arm and a leg in South Africa. You can only get a nicely specced M440I gran coupe for $88,000 this side. An M4 starts at $120,000 here. I'm currently looking at your previous car the M340I that is a bit more reasonable at $66,000 this side.

Wow, your insurance is high. I was able to completely insure a 107k EUR (109k USD) M4 for only 158 EUR (160 USD) a month. Not sure how it's called in the US, but the insurance also covers theft and many other things, including damage due to accidents that are only me to blame. Fortunately, price per gallon will be a lot cheaper in the US, I guess.
here in Switzerland we paying leasing for moth without insurrnce the same 1300-1700.- per month and 3500.- insurence per year. gas is 500-600.- per month
It's a myth to think a performance car saves fuel, for the thing to move, it needs to burn significantly, there's no way you will get that smile without burning fuel...
1 thing I've done wrong is had no patience wish I could have gotten a faster and nicer car like yours right now I have a 2013 genny R-spec 5.0 and 2014 Audi A7 they fun but shit they mostly just have very nice sounds then speed and luckily living in nyc I'm only paying 350 a month in insurance.

Yup I got mine for 137k with taxes includes and I have to pay $1,798 a month .. that’s without insurance. I made a mistake but it’s whatever.
