This one was originally uploaded by thetooleman. He already processed the files, I wish I could have found the unprocessed originals, but I couldn't.
It needed a lot of adjustments. Controlling high frequencies was a pain, cymbals tended to be really harsh. Stereo needed to be corrected a bit.
Low end was messy and needed to be cleaned and pushed a bit. We managed to get a lot of noise out. Then a slight tube compression, and it was good to go.
This is still not the cleanest recording you could get, and there are still a few saturated peaks, a few signal drops ; but this really cool early performance from Return to Forever was worth the time !
It should now give a good listening experience on most sound systems.
