I was until I saw his pathing and then I knew he was dead. He could’ve swung by military camp.
I feel like, now there's either no scavs the whole raid or you get swarmed by 20+ elite super scaves honed in on killing you. Fought 3 pmcs and won, then killed 11 scavs before I was done looting and scooting, then did 5 raids on streets and didn't find a single scav....

This happened to me on GZ... Spawned in with a buddy, 3 scavs dead ahead. Then 3 more in the Wine Cellar. Then leaving there run into a 3 man and my buddy gets head eyes by a pistoling. I kill the 3 man and then 3 scavs come up the stairs nuts to butts and my 9A-91 only has 6 rounds left after the pmc fight so I get head jaws by a pistol scav...

IIRC the RPDN can be found in weapon crates as well. I found one on Factory.
I found the RPD short and demolished a handful of factory raids with it my new favorite factory gun

Map awareness
You have to be thinking about where people spawned, where they likely rotated, what point in the raid you're currently in, etc. Honestly, this game would be a lot better for everyone if everyone sort of knew how to play. I feel like the rat "problem" only exists because so many people get frustrated and just camp.

Bro I've been playing since 2018 and the majority of my deaths this wipe is just from people sitting in spots the majority of the raid too scared to move and it sucks getting one tapped so easily rip.

Id found the short and long in 2 back to back raids, a fuckin scav had a short one and i found a long in a container at the power pylon on customs next to new gas. They're very effective for factory :)
He finds a fucking flash drive in the middle of woods and I'm sitting here on my 30th raid between reserve and streets and haven't found a single one!

The new Scav movement and spawns really make me question my sanity sometimes, quite often I think: 'that must be a PMC, because of this movement' and it ends up being a scav Haha.
Had a scav shotgunner sneak up on me but I thought it was a player looting so my ass was just sitting til I heard a cyka! Then I started blasting

Oh for sure. I have a friend that's new and I'm like aye man you might just want to go grind Arena for a bit to get ahold of how the guns and meds work. Great advice to new players imo

Still a meme to me that milk counts as a stimulant in this game. Great for the quest tho. Also... Scavs can spawn with an RPD? JFC. Yea I'm a bit scared of that shit if AI and players scavs can get it lol. You dont need good ammo when you got a 100 round drum.
I've got a few from scavs so far. Luckily they don't really seem to make the most of it and just tap/burst fire. But man if you get a chance to prone with that thing and let rip at someone its immensely satisfying.

@@fhantomburger2906 Yea but there is a big different in those and the RPD. I haven't had a RPD actually jam yet where as those drumbed aks seem to do it pretty often, at least in the past.

Man I would love to know tips on how to survive better. I went 0-4 on Ground Zero last night as a new player with one of the deaths being a random snipe haha. I did down 2 of 3 in a squad with a SCAV shotgun, but still feel that I'm fumbling in the dark and making bad decisions!
Take it slow. Using movement and crouch levels is the one thing I'm using as a newer player to great effect. Stealth is key, especially if you're fighting multiple enemies. If they don't hear you, you can pick the most advantageous moment to fight. Use your hip fire efficiently up close, and if you can't initiate on your terms, it's better to reposistion, or to loot and leave, than get head tapped 👍🏻.
Just remember there's always one more. Don't get greedy and you'll be fine.
Starting tarkov is never easy. You need to get used to the maps. Most of the time in your first wipe you're gonna learn map layouts. Just take it slow. And if you're confident in your gunskills you can challenge the enemies. If you want to learn how to shoot arena is your best bet
@@BigOldW You really don't need to play that way, and if you do, you will never get better. It's a good way to be a bit better right off the bat, but you will never improve.
It's important to play based on where you spawn, where others spawned, what tasks people are probably doing, and all that. Good aim is important, but map/game knowledge is maybe even more so.
Tarkov is all about suffering. Learn to enjoy it

You know what would be cool? If BSG added custom camouflaging. Like, it would be awesome if, before the raid, you could buy pieces of camouflage to stick on to your gear. It would be perfect if you could bring white camouflage materials into the raid so that, in the event that it snows, you could put it on top of your gear to blend in with the changing environment
I absolutely LOVE how the game looks probably more than without snow, but thee bit rate is horrible on RUclips 😅

This wipe is trash you cant even get into scav raids
You can't get in because too many people are trying to scav on maps with not that many pmcs running raids there. Pick scav locations where people need to quest, like ground zero, customs, woods, or interchange.
Beside what 1SquidBoy said, turn off the automatic server selection in the launcher and select more servers, if they have acceptable ping even outside your region. If you are in the EU, you can likely play on all EU, some US, some Russian and all ME servers as well. I do this and can scav into raids on any maps in 2-3 mins max.

How so?
They've been working on it for years, and the way they introduced it was perfect. Could you implement something like this in a game of this scale in a couple of months? Probably not. It'd take years.
I think the way they did it is least effort for maximum effect. Given that it will likely be a temporary feature, more effort would have been wasted time, so their priorities were perfect in my opinion. It certainly spiced up the maps as it is.

They are on 2 different engines, and we are getting seasons. This is not a one time feature, nor is it wasted work
so i researched the last 2 days how many cheaters are in tarkov... and for me the lootshooter is not playable anymore... its not that i dont have success raids... but technicly there are nearly in nearly 100% of all raids cheater inside. Some just for loot and a few wich will hunt u down. And even the Streamer are more and more cheating... How do u find motivation to play this game on and on?^^ money? ;D
