i feel like this song fits anakin really well. i think the line “please don’t go, please don’t go, i love you so, I love you so” is something that pretty much describes what he felt towards padme, and the line “the fear has gripped me, but here I go” also describes how he joined the dark side because of the fear of losing padme. idk, the song overall reminds me a lot of him, I’m just a Star Wars fan with an unhealthy obsession with the third movie from the prequel trilogy lmao Ps: maturing is realizing Anakin was just a scared boy who didn’t want to lose the most important thing for him :((
