Great stuff! Not often you see people go into the gritty details of why a service will be good for the communities it runs through, and with a line like the GCL, that's sorely needed for people to understand why it's a good idea.
Great video, being a Rowan alumni this would really help the campus. When I was there in the 00s it was disconnected from most of the town. The Landmark was probably the easiest to get to on a regular basis. Woodbury, G City, and the other more dense areas should see a lot more foot traffic.
Excellent detailed look into each station. Is there any sort of interactive map of the line and stations, like has someone created a google maps or open maps overlay of this line yet?
Thanks! And not to my knowledge. I could probably figure out how to do it. The GCL's website has a decent (non-Google/navigable, etc) map that places the locations with a solid description of location, intended use, parking spots, etc. that I've basically used for a lot of info for my three videos in the series
Rowan already lost a lot parking for Discovery Hall. There's an E-sports place off the Glassboro's town square that opened in October. Triad probably doesn't need all that parking, but could also be used for Business Hall access. They could expand the lot for the Bagel Express/Ciconte's and make that GCL parking for those west of Bonesaw Brewing Co or just on the other side of Carpenter Street/Cedar Av to Alcyon Blvd or so like Alan Fisher's mom
@@Itellyouonlythetruth there's steady progress. They're still in the thick of the design phase, they've been updating their social media with a bit more regularity as of late
They're in the engineering/design phase. The last update was that they're taking ground samples (soil boring) to evaluate conditions while they engineer the structural needs. It seems to be moving along steadily in the process

Thanks! And I agree. The NIMBYism is strong in SJ, perhaps this may help educated some folks about the benefits in both directions
Can't wait to ride it

I’m super excited for this!!

Any news about this project?

Is this going to happen or just a proposal?
@@MarcP5267 still in the design/planning stages but things are moving along. It is set to happen, just moving at a snail's pace
OK, is this a proposal or is it is process?
