I remember watching this live. I thought it was incredible. The aerials and passing were second to none. I'm watching this back in 2020 and it just seems so slow now! The mechanics and movement have opened up so many attacking options. As players have figured out ways to move their car, others figured out how to defend and the game keeps evolving. Few core mechanics have changed, but the players have changed and it's been amazing to watch over the last few years... Also, thank God they took out the crowd noise on every aerial and save haha

The difference between RLCS S1 and S3 is mind blowing. The pace of play is so much faster, and infield passing is prevalent now. These games were excited when they happened, but wow are they incredibly boring now after watching S3.

Just happens to be fun. Obviously in the case of these rlcs players, it isn't just a game clearly. These guys are professionals. But don't sit here and paint the picture as if everyone who plays video games is pewdiepie dude lol. For the most part, games are a very fun, sociable waste of time. But we don't mind because if you're responsible, there's no issue. You're acting like there aren't people who really need to get outside and do something else with their time once in a while, because the majority of us will never make money gaming. It's because this was livestreamed, and this is a recorded format of it. If you don't know, streaming video is very hard on internet bandwidth. If you try to livestream 1080p, you're going to have problems, both on the streamer's side and, especially, the viewer's side. Receiving an HD live feed in real time is much different than watching a video on RUclips's servers; hence the difference in difficulty of watching each.

They were already CONSISTENT in all of this + they had far better passing plays than diamonds nowadays. Even Im diamond, even champ in 2s and im not as good as they were, just not as consistent. You also have to keep in mind that youre playing with 0 pressure at home.
What rank are you? They may seem really low but that’s because they didn’t have as many mechanics as we do now, players in champ 1-2 don’t pass nearly as much as they do, yea IBP and F3 are slow but there game sense and synergy is wayyyyyyyyy better then most champs

Think wall reads, dribbles, flicks, preflips, prejumps, fakes, air roll shots, air control etc. I remember somewhere in like season 2 there was insane hype about the first air dribble, while that is currently basically common in champ ranks. Obviously the comparison is stupid since the game only existed for a couple of months at this point, but still funny nonetheless to see how far the community has come.

iBP seems so calm when Flipsid3 scores a goal, but when iBP scores a goal Flipsid3 seems to flip out a bit.
I also think Flipsid3 is way too offensive, they left the goal open more than 2 times and they keep congregating near each other.

It's because this was livestreamed, and this is a recorded format of it. If you don't know, streaming video is very hard on internet bandwidth. If you try to livestream 1080p, you're going to have problems, both on the streamer's side and, especially, the viewer's side. Receiving an HD live feed in real time is much different than watching a video on RUclips's servers; hence the difference in difficulty of watching each.

What rank are you? They may seem really low but that’s because they didn’t have as many mechanics as we do now, players in champ 1-2 don’t pass nearly as much as they do, yea IBP and F3 are slow but there game sense and synergy is wayyyyyyyyy better then most champs
@@thund3r94 I'm grand champ. I might not beat them in game sense but definitely in mechanics. Think wall reads, dribbles, flicks, preflips, prejumps, fakes, air roll shots, air control etc. I remember somewhere in like season 2 there was insane hype about the first air dribble, while that is currently basically common in champ ranks.
Obviously the comparison is stupid since the game only existed for a couple of months at this point, but still funny nonetheless to see how far the community has come.
