I consider that a perfect review. I love the uncut style where we can actually see the ball reaction even with imperfect shots. It a real honest test. Great Job!
It took me a long time...much frustrations in many tournaments and practices to finally learn how to throw this ball.... LOL. I'm starting to like it.
I was a big fan of the allroad, which was a bit of a surprise, as I'm rev dominant and strong covers don't usually match well for me on a house shot. The nrg cover at 4000 with the hyroad core gave me a smooth motion. It didn't snap hard off the dry, and I had no issue getting it right, which is often my issue with nrg...reads too early if I get the slightest bit too much hand into it. It was extremely forgiving. I'm imoressed.
I got a old hyroad pearl off the house rack and redrilled the thumb now I’m stringing 9-10 strikes at league with ease . If I can hold my speed and not go crazy it’ll pocket everything just don’t go to fast and it’ll always read. So far it’s my favorite ever.
Trust me its one of my favorite bowling balls in the game
Im with you jr, i tried a hyroad because everybody said how good it was and that thing in my hands was a turd, never came close to my gb2pp, the hyroad would look good one shot then blow past the breakpoint the next. Tried shine all the way to 500 surface, just couldnt get it to shape
I'm a cranker with lower ball speed this ball hooks so hard for me its crazy if you miss left its going to take that left turn into the 7 pin If I throw it out from 19 to 5 its nice
Going back after drilling, this ball is very good to control wet dry. Of course there's no perfect solution on ball alone, this is a great wet dry killer. In saying that it's not situational because you can just use it on the burn
Haven't thrown a Storm in a while. My last one was the Reign On. Looking to get back in. Was leaning toward the HyRoad Max or this one but not sure now. Also was looking at the IQ emerald green. What's your top 3 Storm balls released over the past 2 years or so ? Lefty, stroker, medium rev. Usually play around 8 or 9
I throw more down in. What would you recommend? My all time go to was the Fuze Igniter.
Do you think you could do a review on the astro physix ball im thinking about getting it
rick bennett i just ordered that yestersay
This ball actually looks very good. Might be my benchmark.
I am looking at your pull back and you are turning your hand to the side. Is that how you pull back further
What weight is the ball because the fr2 core changes with weight
I think JR always throws 15 lb.
How does this ball compare to the 900 global equilibrium?
What layout did you use?
Where does this fit in comparison to the web tour and the web ??
You should try one with a 2-3" pin and drop it below the fingers.... little more "pop" on the back (at least for me)
Would this fit in somewhere to replace the regular Hyroad and Timeless in my arsenal or be 1 step above them
So I need to replace my alpha crux, for it just didnt do anything for me. Which would be better the all road ,which I have never thrown any of the roads neither or the evolve? Guess question is which one is better in your opinion?
Im definitely not a professional but those 2 balls are pretty different in terms of cores, if you're looking for a pretty strong reaction all around then i would go for the evolve, and if you're looking for a solid ball that isnt too strong or weak then the allroad is the one for you
Gamebreaker 2 was my favorite
How does this ball compare to the phase 3? My phase 3 is drilled 4x4x2 I am thinking about getting the all road for when the p3 is to much ball and I need something weaker
P3 is more skid snap than this 1. All-road would work better if the back ends are strong, and possibly even better in carry down as well (P3 might squirt).
How would you compare this to the Pro Motion, would they be too similar over in shape and purpose? Or could I take the All Road's surface up and make it more middle of the arsenal to later in the block?
Pro Motion is stronger all the way around to my eyes.
Pro motion was definitely stronger. Throwing both, side by side, the pro motion covered more boards but gave me less forgiveness than the allroad. I would say the allroad blended the wet/dry in the pattern better. I'm rev dominant.
Dont like all the ball deflection when it hits the pocket it needs to carry all the way through.
He's hitting light almost every shot. High flush hits deflect a lot less
@@coopergates9680 That is true, but back before the Covid shutdown, I was tossing a few demo games with this ball matched up against my Game Breaker 3, and the GB3 had way better continuation through the pins for me anyway, even with lighter pocket hits. In 2008 I believe when the Hyroad first released, I just couldn't get it to work for me like JR. It was slow, lots of deflection, etc. The All Road I was getting very similar results. Now all that being said, me and that core or whatever it may be clearly do not match up either. My more smooth, rounded motion personal choice has always been Game Breakers.
@UC-Lgo02J3Anqwe5OvD8y_dw Are you speed dominant? If so, how do they Hy-Roads behave when you slow them down?
@@coopergates9680 I'm a matched player my ball speed is 18mph. I have a lot of axis tilt I'm a two hander
@@blakephillips5354 Shouldn't be an issue for you, then. I was answering Mikey Man but the tag became totally garbled
What’s your rev rate speed and axis tilt?
He’s said before around 400rpm and it looks like he’s around 17-18mph and axis tilt >11
Its my bench mark ball 😍
what is a bench mark ball im new to bowling so plz explain thx
Steezy boi008 you ever figure it out?
@@steezyboiiii808 it's been a year but I'mma reply anyways lol.
It's basically your starter ball. Your go to ball that you can throw and see how the lanes are and make your adjustments from there. Mine is my IQ tour. Not too strong, not too weak and easily predictable to determine how lanes are and a ball I can keep using throughout a series (maybe)
Please level your camera if you can... thanks
Jad to get gas
Yech, turn off that annoying background music.
First
I don't understand why you played so deep (far left) when the ball was clearly not getting back or barely getting back. All your shots from deep hit very weak and barely carried or were mixers. You should have stayed right the whole time and found a spot where the ball looked decent (meaning finished properly). When you play the wrong part of the lane, the ball looks terrible. You never even tried playing down and in until the end (once) and that was the best looking shot.
Because it's a ball review. You review the balls performance across the lane. You dont try to make the ball look good. The ball will look good on it's own in the part of the lane it likes... you're not going to see clipped videos of just strikes on this channel. You'll get honesty and zero bias. There are enough clipped videos out there.
@@BowlerXcom Hold all horses. I like your format and am not trying to hate on your video. However, you must agree that not every ball is capable of playing all across the lane. Also, playing the proper part of the lane where the ball matches up is not "clipping" the video. I am only asking for the shots to match the ball's capability. Nobody plays the wrong part of the lane on purpose just to see what the ball can do on the wrong line. Everyone gets lined up and plays to a ball's strengths.
Maybe once you are lined up you can then move around and see what happens. I don't think you ever got lined up with this one.
It struck 8 of the 11 shots thrown from all different parts of the lane. I'm not sure what I would have accomplished by standing in one spot throwing strike after strike. I vowed to not make a video like that because those types of reviews in my opinion are pointless and nobody learns anything from them. With this type of review people can see the balls strengths and weaknesses
Throwing the ball from different spots shows who may or may not want this ball depending on their playing style. Some people love playing straight, some people love playing way left. They won't know what the ball is actually capable of it's only shown in one location of the lane.
leaves corner pins, what a POS. Stay with Hammer it's better and doesn't leave corners.
@Scotty every bowling ball in the world leaves corner pins it’s bowling there is no magic ball or layout that will prevent it. (If you were joking then disregard that)
@@kierynknox2907 My Hammer Web Tour has never left a corner pin or my Hammer Web Pearl! Been in over 8 houses and not a 7 or 10 pin left yet with either ball.
Scotty all I’m saying is that you can say a ball is terrible for leaving a few corner pins especially when somebody is trying to test it on all parts of the lane which so he’s not always playing in the right part of the lane for that ball plus bowlers can make mistakes that can cause it too I’ve thrown hammer before and there good I’m two handed and I’ve left corner pins the Statement Hybrid. So that’s all I’m saying
@@scotty2221 So you're averaging 272, or every non-strike either misses the pocket or 4-pins or 4-9s, or maybe stone 9s? I have watched a Web flat 10 in person.
Hey there what weight are-you using for that core
