Love it! I am wanting to do a smaller 14”-16” total so I got a 6” and 8 in grapevine just to see which one would work better. My question is would I still do the full stems on the smaller heaviness and do 2 layers like you did with this one? Thank you
Hey Felisha! I make them on an 8” grapevine base often and still use full stems and two layers - I go all the way around the outside and then go around and fill in the second center layer. Sometimes if there is a hole or gap I will add a single leaf to fill in the space. You won’t need quite as many leaves with an 8 inch base. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions!
I love this, but when checked on the prices of the faux magnolias in hobby lobby, they are over $17 now... I guess they are taking advantage of how fashionist they are these days, so doing this would be over $50, I guess I'd keep on looking for prices. Thanks for sharing. Loved your wreath!
Thank you for this tutorial. Can a regular glue stick be used? If not, what is a glue pot and where can I purchase?
Actually, I ordered a glue pot! Off amazon!
You can use a glue gun or glue skillet. You can find our grace Monroe Home glue skillet here: surebonder.com/collections/grace-monroe-home
Can this be sprayed with a clear protectant? My front door is barely covered and it’s very humid in La.
Yes, absolutely.
Love the wreath and the presentation was excellent! Thanks!
Another question...I have a magnolia tree in my yard. It grows like a weed! Could I use real leaves?
Yes, you definitely can!
Absolutely beautiful wreath! Do you have problems with birds making nests in the wreaths you make with grapevines?

Love it
Thank you so much!!
Where did you get your stand to hold your wreath form, your glue pot and glue for the pot?
