- UPDATE: From our view it appeared that Eric was run off the road by the Class A, we later learned from his video that he was just shook up and needed to pull over.
The class A was NOT a person that we had meet earlier in that day and it was NOT JC Travels Stories.
Leaving is never easy nor is it quick when you are rollin with a group of 20+. Eric also known as Nomadic Fanatic was nearly run off the road by another RVer and all though no one was injured, there were some rattled nerves.

So glad Eric, Jax and everyone else is ok. As we’ve all witnessed, it’s a very small world out there. At some point, someone will see the passing rig again. Hopefully with all the videos running someone can get a license from rig or car. Stay safe!

OMG! You guys have had enough of being hit and/or blown off the road. Thank goodness no one was hurt. I can imagine how you guys felt as it wasn't that long ago for you and Scot. OH man!! That's so scary to see. I'm glad Eric was OK, but I know that's terrifying! That big rig was not driving safely at all, I hope they realize how dangerous it was for them to lose their patience and try to pass so much. I'm so glad everyone is safe. Passing with that rig on that road was very dangerous. Everyone is lucky he/she didn't kill somebody. It must have scared the tar out of the person in the white car, as well!

Terri and Scott you folks are so relaxed in all you go through. It is really refreshing. Wow, I watched the video! That was a close call and everyone on the road was at risk of a person who plagues all of us with his road rage. Running his rig hard too! Hey, nice videos, keep up the good work, maybe we will meet one day on the roads of adventure and travel!

Happy New Year. As we sit at home in NY with sub zero weather and snow we are envious of not only the warmer weather but also your time on the road. A couple more weeks and we head south with our Lance for a couple of months. Your comment about the furnace running the battery down brings to mind our early dayys and the same problem. I installed the largest battery the Lance will hold, a group 31 AGM deep cycle marine battery which made a difference. We also added a 150 watt solar panel years ago and then a second one this year. Sunny days will completely rejuvenate the battery without having to run the truck for charging. 4 months on the road in Alaska this year and we never had a battery issue. I am contemplating adding a second battery to the system with a frame mounted battery box and then a 1500 watt inverter. Just food for thought. Happy Motoring!

It is super nice how you accommodate Eric after the incident, he's lucky to have you guys around! I don't know what was on the mind of the driver of the big rig, maybe he had an emergency or something, but that does not excuse such ruthless driving. The scene where Eric and the other car bounced off the road - crazy!
Wow! I know this video and the posts are 6 months old but I just want to say how glad I am that you are ok! I’m an OTR truck driver and have millions of miles under my belt. The roads have changed! It’s not a matter of if I will see an accident this trip, it’s a matter of how many. Sadly I see this sometimes multiple times daily.

DestinationOpenRoad ... I agree with you Scott. Jc travels is light green. This unknown is a grey/silver color with gold accents. It's a Fleetwood Bounder (or Bounder Fleetwood). Looks like the upper quarter is painted black. Toad is a Honda CRV with a roof rack. At 17:39, you can see the toad,'s license plate, but I can't read it. Loves might have CCTV that caught the plates or fuel receipt. Glad Eric seemed ok. You were great to be there with him afterwards.
The new man (Ken Holmes) seems like he was parked on the opposite side of the street. The unknown class A pulls out from the opposite side of the road than Ken would have had to have done.
Omg that was so scary. Thankfully no one was hurt. Hopefully with your video and Eric’s the plate numbers can be turned into the state police and he will get a citation. This must have been hard on you and Scott so soon after your own accident that wasn’t your fault. I bet Eric was shook up. So nice of you to go to Eric and give him support.

THANKS, I viewed Eric's video of the events, and with yours it made it very clear that driver of that Class A RV acted negligently convoy or not. When passing vehicles on this type of road in any state, its the passing operators responsibility to do so safely regardless of anything. That driver did not do so, and this and Eric's video proves it.
This situation on Nomadic Fanatic channel was where I found Destination Open Road and Panda Monium channels...love all these channels...so many more since...love the tribe!

Wow, that was scary! I am so glad no one was hurt and that nothing was damaged. The way Eric was looking at the rear of his rig had me worried that he had been hit like you guys were. I am sure this brought back many bad memories for you, and it had to have been difficult to watch this all happen. I hope AZ laws support reporting reckless driving with video evidence, and if so, that y'all report the Class A. He is dangerous and he could kill someone. Y'all be safe out there!

Great video, guys. So glad that no one got hurt. A comment regarding driving in caravan style, though, I use to live in Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. To get there, you have to drive a narrow, winding road that takes 2 hours. There are many accidents and near misses on that road, because of slower driving RVs (usually from Alberta haha), those that commute back and forth for work or those that live in the area alway drive very fast and get frustrated and take dangerous chances, even on blind curves, trying to get around the rvs. Be careful out there.

This is why I love watching y'all so much, the whole tribe, because y'all care about each other, you take care of each other and you're there for each other... it brought tears to my eyes watching everyone stop and comfort Eric!! when y'all had your wreck I ask Carolyn if I could do Reiki on everybody... and I would like to put all of you on my Reiki list forever but I have to have permission from each one of you so if y'all can get that to me then I will do Reiki on everyone almost every night.
