The ground wire to the cookie sheet made it worth watching this!!! Thanks!! I made my static grass applicator out of a ...um...electric fly swatter...works great. Using baking soda before or after applying super glue creates and instant rock hard bond which also paints and drybrushes as a little extra dirt or soil.
Damn. Great results. I want some of these for some Caribbean jungle stomping. I have everything I need but the palm trees. I found a cool batch of them on Amazon, maybe the same quality as these, most likely made by the same guy in some metal shed in an actual jungle. These look perfect. Also nice to find another guy that doesn’t take this shit too seriously.
You can use emery board for filing the flashing off. Or for expedience use a long handle nozzle lighter. instead of a tea light. Might try the nozzle area of the glue gun
My trees arrived! I got the same exact trees you have from Amazon. They are pretty soft and greasy but already happy with them. They came flattened in a bag straight from wuhan. So far I’ve dangled them upside down about 4 inches from my garage heater, it warms the plastic and you can watch them open up and then I work them while they cool. Now they are all fluffy and lively looking. I’m trying to follow your methods so I’ll let you know how it goes like you give a fuck.😊
OOOOOh, I do, you had me at soft and greasy! I like the garage heater idea, as well. May the Gods of Smashing Success Stories bestow you with painting excellence.
Well. . . clearly I didn't see it was you. The Miniature Dork Universe is not a rational place, so I can't see it changing anytime soon. It would be like expecting an owl to act like a chicken, it's just not going to happen. So, my recommendation is to either; A) Avoid the treachery and nonsense altogether or, in the event that you must travel to the Miniature Dork Universe, B) Using your mouse, click up to that little red and grey timeline and advance it to 1:01 (in the case of this video). That will allow you to warp past the intro and the Miniature Dork Universe will not eat that valuable minute of your life. The 3 seconds it takes you to do that will spare you that whole minute. Cool, eh? Yours truly, Jesus.

Killer commentary to accompany your fun tutorial ! Best narration of any DIY video I've seen/heard !
That's inspiring, thanks! I still have lots of tricks up my sleeve, so mentally fortify for more in the future.
Cool tutorial... I've book marked it when I head out to the Pacific for my WW2 terrain.
So many people liked this one, I will follow up with more.
Talking about your nipple catching fire made me cackle out loud. Good stuff.
Nice work on those!!! I bought a bunch a while back and haven't done anything close to what your doing!!!!!! Love the finished ÷look!!!!!!!
Gorgeous and realistic jungle terrain, thumbs up!
Excellent work. As ever.
