I think the producers just loved her for TV and that's why she was brought back for game changers
The people involved with these blindsides (except Wardog) are who I like to call "Threat Zombies": they must take down a big threat at every tribal they attend, with no concern of how it affects their positioning in the game.
Another pointless blindside was Denise sending Sandra home in WAW after Sandra gave her an extra idol. Not only does Denise send someone home who was actively trying to help her, Sandra was someone she could've used as a meat shield for a few rounds (similar to what Jeremy did in Cambodia with Fishbach). Speaking of Jeremy, Denise also misplays her second idol on him at that same tribal. If she holds onto that idol, she has it for final 6, where she'd be able to send Sarah home via auto elimination, which couldve led to a run at FTC.
Definitely thought this on my rewatch of the season. However, shortly after that, i had a twisted idea that if it were *me*, i would probably vote for jeremy and still negate my vote, forcing the other 3 to turn on each other while i watch with glee to see what happens
I wouldn’t say pointless as it gave her a big move to add to her resume although I agree the move was bad. Also to your point, saving Jeremy did nothing to strengthen her relationship with Jeremy.
It wasn’t pointless at all. Sandra wanted Denise to use the idol and blindside Jeremy. At the time, Denise was close with Jeremy and was never gonna vote him out. She still needs to vote someone out, and if she’s already betraying Sandra by not getting rid of Jeremy like she promised, then she might as well go all the way and vote off Sandra. It’s better than blindsiding Kim or Tony and having a pissed off Sandra still in the game targeting her.
Joel voting out Mary is such an underrated stupid move by Joel, but also an underrated great move by Tracy (I feel like you didn't gave her enough credit in the video) considering the fact that she is the one who got Joel to this move and the player who is benefited from it the most (I know Chet was the target so he benefit from the move more, but I just think calling Chet a "player" is a bit of a stretch)
I definitely should have given Tracy more credit, totally agree! She is easily the best player on that tribe in my opinion, and she was on the verge of controlling the entire tribe before they swapped
And, if not for Chet throwing in the towel on post-swap Malakal, she could've gained control of that tribe too! As great as Micronesia was, I'm genuinely curious how the season would've played out had she succeeded in blindsiding Ozzy.

Very likely the next two boots are Amanda and Chet, meaning you come into the merge Ami Erik and Tracy picking up Eliza and Jason, while Parv and Cirie keep James and have to fight to grab hold of Alexis and Natalie. Ami and Tracy vs Parvati and Cirie is the stuff survivor dreams are made of, and... Honestly...? I'm inclined to think Ami and Tracy win that battle. Tracy had good bonds with Alexis and Natalie in particular, plus Ami is no slouch, whild Parv would,be trying to get over the hurdle of trying to get Alexis and Natalie to work with James (who they didn't like) and someone they've never met (Cirie)
Was hoping Jim Rice saving Cochran to vote out Elyse would be on here. Move probably in the long run totally tanked Savaii because there's no way Elyse flips to Upolu like Cochran did
It was a poor move, but wasn't completely pointless. Jim wanted to keep people loyal to him. Pretty sure Cochran was closer to him that the others. Both were super fans and I imagine had some good conversations about the show. The dumb decision was everyone telling Cochran it should have been him voted out instead of Ozzy right before the merge. They made Cochran feel like he was on the bottom. In his mind, why gamble his game for people he is unsure about taking him to the end? Upolu was able to make Cochran feel like he had a way better chance of going far with them. If everyone made Cochran feel secure in his alliance, he may have gone to rocks.
Definitely an omission in Gabby's blindsiding of Carl (leaving Davie and Nick in the dark) in DvG Final 9, and then on top of that attempting to blindside her remaining loyal ally Christian the vote after. While I can understand Gabby's frustration at Carl dictating the vote, the Davids had JUST miraculously earned a majority for the first time, and in the last two votes Carl, Davie and Nick burnt their advantages to earn it for them. Biting the hand that feeds you this early never pays off, and had Gabby just waited one or two more tribals to blindside Carl, she and Christian may have been left in a power position afterwards. Instead, she left them with two different sides who were all too happy to put aside their differences to slay the betrayers - and when she attempted a second Bigmovitis play against Christian, he had enough social capital that (according to his postgame interviews) three different people in two different alliances all told him he was the vote and to play his Idol! Two people that Gabby thought she was flipping to (I think Allison and Mike White) correctly stuck the knife in her back and with Christian's idol play, two votes sent her packing. If she had managed to wait until 7 (preferably) or 8 for the Carl blindside and then simply let Christian's rivals take him out as the huge threat he was, she could have very well won the game. Her blunder turned a great season into an absolutely top-tier one, but it was a blunder of a blindside nonetheless.

I don’t think that was entirely pointless. Natalia was incredibly paranoid and I could see why Alec would want to get rid of her in case she flips on the Goliaths at the merge, or otherwise blows up any plans. The plan to take out Elizabeth was pretty cut and dry and Natalia had little to no reason to be so anxious.

While it sucks that Kellee was on this list, she did definitely deserve it. This did show that timed idols do incentivize big moves whether good or bad
I feel like these past seasons they haven’t though. Gabler didn’t use his, Josh uses his but just to save himself and the other two kind of didn’t end up mattering. I guess the difference is though that these have all been public knowledge and the past two just kind of expired without fanfare so there wasn’t really any chance to make a huge move with them.
A few more mentions: 1. Australian Survivor Champions vs Contenders - Benjy making a move on Teagan. Both times. The first time, he chose breaking a duo while keeping a trio, which makes no sense, but the 2nd time made even less sense, as he forced himself and Robbie on the outs of the contenders, only to join a big alliance that he’s clearly at the bottom of. 2. Worlds Apart - Will voting out Vince. Rather than either siding with Vince and Nina, or sticking with the split vote to take Nina out, he puts himself on the outs of both sides, just because he felt uneasy about something Vince said. 3. SJDS - Jon blindsiding Jeremy, and giving a serious opening to Reed’s alliance, which would’ve screwed him if it weren’t for “stick to the plan”. 4. Second Chance - Ciera voting out Woo over Spencer. That “big move” is the main reason she and her allies were put on the outs at the merge, and her reason for that was childish. 5. All Stars - Lex blindsiding Colby to keep in Jerri, who was really holding them back in challenges. That guaranteed their loss the following round, and their numbers being down at the merge. 6. David vs Goliath - Angelina voting out Jeremy, while keeping in Natalie, whose attitude can easily isolate other allies. 7. David vs Goliath - Gabby and Christian blindsiding Carl. That’s what fractured their alliance. (it should also be noted that Carl pushing for the Elizabeth vote is what started Gabby’s doubts on him to begin with) 8. Winners at War - Nick voting out Yul. His excuse to it was dumb, and that’s what put him and Michele on the outs at the merge.
One off the top of my head is David and CC blindsiding Lucy in MVGX. Should the swap happen later, David wouldve had full control over Gen X by saving Jessica. And she'd also become an integral part in brining in Adam as an ally. If that move doesn't happen, David is likely an early merge boot.

somehow every single week i forget that idoled out posts on sunday night. seeing a fresh survivor video is always a welcome surprise to round out the weekend and get pumped for monday!
Lauren also talks about how in EOE, there was an unaired reward challenge that Kelly/Lauren went on without Wardog, and that’s why Wardog targeted Kelly because he wasn’t picked to go on the reward
I feel like the garret vote made sense given how things played out He openly admitted to having a 3 person alliance which excluded Tasha and Jtia Plus his alliance with Spencer ensured that if he was booted Kass and Tasha could safely take out Spencer or Jtia, and take out both of things get really bad Basically Tasha and Kass ensured long term safety while voting Jtia really would have been a highly emotional decision.

Wardog’s logic in general was questionable, even before the Kelley vote. Blindsiding Chris, who trusted him more than anyone, and would’ve been one heck of a shield, rather than getting rid of Wendy. Attempting to blindside David and Rick at the merge, giving a serious opening to Kama, instead of ganging up on Kama with a potential 7 (and then attempting to paint David as untrustworthy in the final 10 vote, which is very hypocritical)
I’ve seen Micronesia at least 4 times since it’s my favorite season and I find more flaws with the Mary blindside each time I watch it. Truly an all time dumb moment

I do kind of get the micheala thing. She was the biggest candidate for an individual immunity run given that she was single handedly winning challenges for ikabula, and her being a strategic threat on top of that would make her a serious threat. Still a stupid move, but I get where their heads were at.
I don’t understand how wardogs move is bad, he loses numbers if he leaves her in the game. He also explains how her and gavin and Lauren were closer to eachother at this point, so no matter what WarDog does at this point he is left without allies. I understand his flip I don’t understand why he picked wentworth tho cuz Lauren was clearly ready to flip on WarDog round prior so if I was him I would send Lauren home and keep wentworth as a shield and Rick as a shield so the next 2 rounds I’m protected and create an alliance with Rick Ron and wentworth for one round and then pick the biggest threats for the next few rounds
I genuinely always forget what happened in Edge of Extinction aside because of Chip winning. I only ever remember that being the season of Rick Devens.
I'm surprised Judd's blindside from Guatemala didn't make the list since not only did that serve no purpose for Stephenie and Rafe but actively guaranteed Judd wouldn't be giving either of them his jury vote.
Except they believed that Judd was targeting one of them because Danni successfully convinced them of that. It makes sense that they would try and get rid of him before he got rid of them. Plus, I imagine Judd’s personality was kind of wearing thin a little bit.
I get so mad when people are like "oh I gotta make a big move so I have something on my resume!!" And their big move is voting out their ally and losing numbers????
Joel didn't call himself "Truck". His tribemates called him that because of how he dragged Chet at the immunity challenge, and his general imposing, aggressive demeanor.

I want Michaela to come back so bad, she was a breath of attitude and personality I rarely see among female surviviours and she is such a good idol finder and smart strategist. When I originally watched the season I was convinced that the directors knew she was a solid win so they put the guys up to the betrayal.

First 2 on this list all come before the merge and set them up to "lose" at the merge vote. Both caused others to have reason to trust them way less. Joel was a bad player the entire time. Wardog made the error of continuing the trend of big targets to all get out consecutively rather than pause to take out someone minor to space things out. And I feel season 39 had so many bad choices strategically.
I never saw missy season but just in this clip it looks like a painfully bad move. Someone that is completely loyal to you? It didn’t cross her mind at all that others would never be unwaveringly loyal after that?
I'd say the unnecessary part of that was more flushing Karla's idol for 0 reason when at least if Karla keeps her idol, then she's also guaranteed final 4 and there's at least a chance that they throw her and Gabler into fire over throwing him into the fire.
He needed to get Cody out to win and with the idol in hand he's guaranteed F4. His problem was he needed to not care about getting Karla out at F5 as Karla loses to Jesse at FTC but might not beat him in fire. Jesse's biggest threat at that point was Gabler, as he was the best fire maker and nobody was an FTC threat to Jesse anymore (Jesse just has to get there and he wins.)
That wasn’t unnecessary, Jesse needed to take out Cody and you can’t really fault him when he’s literally one challenge win away from winning. Jesse didn’t need Cody to drag him to the end, he needed to either win the final 4 challenge or be better at fire.
I feel like the Michaela blindside was a bit more justified. Michaela knew of the idol that Jay had and Jay/Will didn’t want her in the game with that knowledge
I hated to root for Karishma but I got so made that Missy was rude to her. It's okay to say to your allies that Karishma is useless but you don't tell her.
I actually don't think that that was that bad. They still had the numbers on the Foa Foas after that. It was Russell playing the idol at the very next Tribal Council that threw them completely off balance in a way from which they could never recover.
In survivor australia, the most pointless blindside was when Luke, Sarah and Jericho voted out Tessa (someone in their alliance) without telling their other alliance members, essentially leading to Luke and Sarah’s eliminations
Say what you want but at least Jay had the balls to look her in the eyes and be like "Yeah, Yeah I did that". They saw more then mere seashells and sand, they saw the brains behind the curtain, sort to speak so even though it didn't work out as well as they hoped, I don't think it was pointless. They had the element of surprise and took their shot to take out a big time brain in the game on top of everything else she had going for her. Michaela has chops in challenges and charm to pull people to her. Anytime you can tale out a triple threat is never pointless IMO.
Chet and Kathy kept running excuses even years after their season, mostly with Joel’s “unity” excuse (which makes no sense, because you can’t have unity if you keep the clearly untrustworthy outsiders). In fact, Chet was so incapable of taking criticism about his gameplay, that he completely flipped out in one of the FB Survivor groups, only for the admins to kick him out. P. S. If what Mike spilled out in a podcast is true, he was cuddling with Alexis, not Mary

Also, he didn’t outlast Ozzy and James. Also, that meltdown from Chet in the FB group, it was deleted by the time I got on, but there was a lot of talk about it, and the admin gave a big warning that being a former Survivor player doesn’t give you rights to act like an ass.
I know probably no one agrees with me but I don't mind Wardog's vote off on Wentworth. Sure, he went next, but both Wardog and Wentworth knew they'd have to flip on each other eventually, and they knew this about each other as well. It was no different than Ricard/Shan. Wardog wanted to keep Wentworth around while she could be a shield for him but she wasn't an effective shield for him anymore as Wardog was targeted over Wentworth the tribal before when David got booted. His problem is he overplayed too early and made himself too big of a threat and with no ability to find idols or win challenges (despite appearing to be a relatively fit guy) he was a dead man walking come merge time. The truth is, if he doesn't take out Wentworth there it's going to be impossible to take Wentworth out later, and Wentworth will have no problem taking him out whenever she feels like it. There's been other similar examples, it happened in the most recent version of AUS Survivor but I won't spoil it, however unlike Wardog's blindside on Wentworth this one ended up benefitting the person doing the blindside significantly more.
This is why I always say Kellee is overrated. I like her a lot and hope she gets a second season if she wants one, but she also had SUCH big-move-itis.
I don’t know if I completely agree with the Michaela decision on this list, I think Jay knew that she was an incredible threat to win if she got deeper into the game and wanted to take her out early to get ahead of the game. It isn’t really a bad thought process it just didn’t work out for him in the very end. I would love to see the alternate universe where Jay and Michaela potentially ride it out to the final 3 together.
@@mwangi10 I think he thought that Michaela would beat him and gain a lot more control come the merge and so he took her out before that happened, whether that would’ve happened or not we’ll never know
At the end of the day this show is pretty dumb. They vote for the person who made the most strategic moves throughout the season which sounds scripted. Why on earth would anyone vote for the person who backstabbed them to the jury? Sounds dumb and staged.

While it sucks that Kellee was on this list, she did definitely deserve it. This did show that timed idols do incentivize big moves whether good or bad
I feel like these past seasons they haven’t though. Gabler didn’t use his, Josh uses his but just to save himself and the other two kind of didn’t end up mattering. I guess the difference is though that these have all been public knowledge and the past two just kind of expired without fanfare so there wasn’t really any chance to make a huge move with them.
A few more mentions:
1. Australian Survivor Champions vs Contenders - Benjy making a move on Teagan. Both times. The first time, he chose breaking a duo while keeping a trio, which makes no sense, but the 2nd time made even less sense, as he forced himself and Robbie on the outs of the contenders, only to join a big alliance that he’s clearly at the bottom of.
2. Worlds Apart - Will voting out Vince. Rather than either siding with Vince and Nina, or sticking with the split vote to take Nina out, he puts himself on the outs of both sides, just because he felt uneasy about something Vince said.
3. SJDS - Jon blindsiding Jeremy, and giving a serious opening to Reed’s alliance, which would’ve screwed him if it weren’t for “stick to the plan”.
4. Second Chance - Ciera voting out Woo over Spencer. That “big move” is the main reason she and her allies were put on the outs at the merge, and her reason for that was childish.
5. All Stars - Lex blindsiding Colby to keep in Jerri, who was really holding them back in challenges. That guaranteed their loss the following round, and their numbers being down at the merge.
6. David vs Goliath - Angelina voting out Jeremy, while keeping in Natalie, whose attitude can easily isolate other allies.
7. David vs Goliath - Gabby and Christian blindsiding Carl. That’s what fractured their alliance. (it should also be noted that Carl pushing for the Elizabeth vote is what started Gabby’s doubts on him to begin with)
8. Winners at War - Nick voting out Yul. His excuse to it was dumb, and that’s what put him and Michele on the outs at the merge.
How about most underrated blindsides, ones that don’t get talked about much.

I guess that could be it. Examples I have is Jerri in Australia, Elise in South Pacific, Wendell in WAW. It might be hard to find some in terms

One off the top of my head is David and CC blindsiding Lucy in MVGX. Should the swap happen later, David wouldve had full control over Gen X by saving Jessica. And she'd also become an integral part in brining in Adam as an ally. If that move doesn't happen, David is likely an early merge boot.
I would think in terms of importance to the game but not getting talked about despite it.
Rotu 4 blindsiding Gabe in Season 4 was also pretty pointless. Looking back on it, it's amazing how 4 people thought that was a good idea.

somehow every single week i forget that idoled out posts on sunday night. seeing a fresh survivor video is always a welcome surprise to round out the weekend and get pumped for monday!

Lauren also talks about how in EOE, there was an unaired reward challenge that Kelly/Lauren went on without Wardog, and that’s why Wardog targeted Kelly because he wasn’t picked to go on the reward

After episode 8, I don't know how anyone could stick around. I'm amazed that I'm still here.
Honestly really surprised the Wentworth EOE blindside wasn't #1.
1 and 2 were a total toss up for me, I considered making it a tie honestly

the garrett blindside on cagayan made absolutely no sense! J'Tia the genius should have went home lol
I feel like the garret vote made sense given how things played out
He openly admitted to having a 3 person alliance which excluded Tasha and Jtia
Plus his alliance with Spencer ensured that if he was booted Kass and Tasha could safely take out Spencer or Jtia, and take out both of things get really bad
Basically Tasha and Kass ensured long term safety while voting Jtia really would have been a highly emotional decision.
Missy: the second most unlikeable person on Island of the Idols.
Another honorable mention is Cirie blindsiding Andrea in game changers
Kelly giving Dean and idol just so Dean votes her out a few tribals later is historic
Chelsea in 39, Michaela in 33, and Wentworth in 38 are three that come to mind.
The Wentworth boot annoyed me so much in EoE especially with Wardog immediately being sent home after, honestly made me think of him as a dumbass

Wardog’s logic in general was questionable, even before the Kelley vote.
Blindsiding Chris, who trusted him more than anyone, and would’ve been one heck of a shield, rather than getting rid of Wendy.
Attempting to blindside David and Rick at the merge, giving a serious opening to Kama, instead of ganging up on Kama with a potential 7 (and then attempting to paint David as untrustworthy in the final 10 vote, which is very hypocritical)
I’ve seen Micronesia at least 4 times since it’s my favorite season and I find more flaws with the Mary blindside each time I watch it. Truly an all time dumb moment
Erik’s “unity” excuse made no sense
Because of (motions wildly) everything else surrounding the season, it’s easy to forget exactly how bad of a player Missy was in S39.
oo i became the BIGGEST jay hater when michaela was voted out. them being scared of her strategically bc she proposed a simple split the vote was so ???
I do kind of get the micheala thing. She was the biggest candidate for an individual immunity run given that she was single handedly winning challenges for ikabula, and her being a strategic threat on top of that would make her a serious threat. Still a stupid move, but I get where their heads were at.

I don’t understand how wardogs move is bad, he loses numbers if he leaves her in the game. He also explains how her and gavin and Lauren were closer to eachother at this point, so no matter what WarDog does at this point he is left without allies. I understand his flip I don’t understand why he picked wentworth tho cuz Lauren was clearly ready to flip on WarDog round prior so if I was him I would send Lauren home and keep wentworth as a shield and Rick as a shield so the next 2 rounds I’m protected and create an alliance with Rick Ron and wentworth for one round and then pick the biggest threats for the next few rounds
I genuinely always forget what happened in Edge of Extinction aside because of Chip winning. I only ever remember that being the season of Rick Devens.
I'm surprised Judd's blindside from Guatemala didn't make the list since not only did that serve no purpose for Stephenie and Rafe but actively guaranteed Judd wouldn't be giving either of them his jury vote.
Except they believed that Judd was targeting one of them because Danni successfully convinced them of that. It makes sense that they would try and get rid of him before he got rid of them. Plus, I imagine Judd’s personality was kind of wearing thin a little bit.
Had things gone differently for Kellie especially in certain regards I won't mention it would've been a pretty good move

I want Michaela to come back so bad, she was a breath of attitude and personality I rarely see among female surviviours and she is such a good idol finder and smart strategist. When I originally watched the season I was convinced that the directors knew she was a solid win so they put the guys up to the betrayal.
Nah the opposite for me. She got on my nerves so much. Not counting contestants like Dan, Colton, etc. she’s one of my least favorite contestants

First 2 on this list all come before the merge and set them up to "lose" at the merge vote. Both caused others to have reason to trust them way less.
Joel was a bad player the entire time.
Wardog made the error of continuing the trend of big targets to all get out consecutively rather than pause to take out someone minor to space things out.
And I feel season 39 had so many bad choices strategically.

When Jesse blindsided Cody only to lose the only person who’d take him to the end 😭
I'd say the unnecessary part of that was more flushing Karla's idol for 0 reason when at least if Karla keeps her idol, then she's also guaranteed final 4 and there's at least a chance that they throw her and Gabler into fire over throwing him into the fire.
cody beats jesse tho
He needed to get Cody out to win and with the idol in hand he's guaranteed F4. His problem was he needed to not care about getting Karla out at F5 as Karla loses to Jesse at FTC but might not beat him in fire. Jesse's biggest threat at that point was Gabler, as he was the best fire maker and nobody was an FTC threat to Jesse anymore (Jesse just has to get there and he wins.)
I wouldn't say getting Cody out was unnecessary, but how he went about it definitely was.
That wasn’t unnecessary, Jesse needed to take out Cody and you can’t really fault him when he’s literally one challenge win away from winning. Jesse didn’t need Cody to drag him to the end, he needed to either win the final 4 challenge or be better at fire.
I feel like the Michaela blindside was a bit more justified. Michaela knew of the idol that Jay had and Jay/Will didn’t want her in the game with that knowledge
I hated to root for Karishma but I got so made that Missy was rude to her. It's okay to say to your allies that Karishma is useless but you don't tell her.
Great video, but I have to argue the most pointless blindside was Galu blindsiding Erik. 6 people tanked their game!
I actually don't think that that was that bad. They still had the numbers on the Foa Foas after that. It was Russell playing the idol at the very next Tribal Council that threw them completely off balance in a way from which they could never recover.

In survivor australia, the most pointless blindside was when Luke, Sarah and Jericho voted out Tessa (someone in their alliance) without telling their other alliance members, essentially leading to Luke and Sarah’s eliminations

I hate the season mainly for episode 8.
Say what you want but at least Jay had the balls to look her in the eyes and be like "Yeah, Yeah I did that". They saw more then mere seashells and sand, they saw the brains behind the curtain, sort to speak so even though it didn't work out as well as they hoped, I don't think it was pointless. They had the element of surprise and took their shot to take out a big time brain in the game on top of everything else she had going for her. Michaela has chops in challenges and charm to pull people to her. Anytime you can tale out a triple threat is never pointless IMO.
Chet and Kathy kept running excuses even years after their season, mostly with Joel’s “unity” excuse (which makes no sense, because you can’t have unity if you keep the clearly untrustworthy outsiders).
In fact, Chet was so incapable of taking criticism about his gameplay, that he completely flipped out in one of the FB Survivor groups, only for the admins to kick him out.

Also, he didn’t outlast Ozzy and James.
Also, that meltdown from Chet in the FB group, it was deleted by the time I got on, but there was a lot of talk about it, and the admin gave a big warning that being a former Survivor player doesn’t give you rights to act like an ass.

I know probably no one agrees with me but I don't mind Wardog's vote off on Wentworth.
Sure, he went next, but both Wardog and Wentworth knew they'd have to flip on each other eventually, and they knew this about each other as well. It was no different than Ricard/Shan. Wardog wanted to keep Wentworth around while she could be a shield for him but she wasn't an effective shield for him anymore as Wardog was targeted over Wentworth the tribal before when David got booted.
His problem is he overplayed too early and made himself too big of a threat and with no ability to find idols or win challenges (despite appearing to be a relatively fit guy) he was a dead man walking come merge time. The truth is, if he doesn't take out Wentworth there it's going to be impossible to take Wentworth out later, and Wentworth will have no problem taking him out whenever she feels like it.
There's been other similar examples, it happened in the most recent version of AUS Survivor but I won't spoil it, however unlike Wardog's blindside on Wentworth this one ended up benefitting the person doing the blindside significantly more.

This is why I always say Kellee is overrated. I like her a lot and hope she gets a second season if she wants one, but she also had SUCH big-move-itis.
Still, I find it funny that she came up with the move right in the middle of her confessional.
I don’t know if I completely agree with the Michaela decision on this list, I think Jay knew that she was an incredible threat to win if she got deeper into the game and wanted to take her out early to get ahead of the game. It isn’t really a bad thought process it just didn’t work out for him in the very end. I would love to see the alternate universe where Jay and Michaela potentially ride it out to the final 3 together.

@@mwangi10 I think he thought that Michaela would beat him and gain a lot more control come the merge and so he took her out before that happened, whether that would’ve happened or not we’ll never know
At the end of the day this show is pretty dumb. They vote for the person who made the most strategic moves throughout the season which sounds scripted. Why on earth would anyone vote for the person who backstabbed them to the jury? Sounds dumb and staged.
