- Hello everyone, my name is spoonmuppet and today I will be showing you how to build a Piston Bolt in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It travels at around 18 blocks per second and can transport minecart chests as well as player minecarts so you can transport resources as well as people!
Sorry for the lack of uploads recently. I have been very stressed in real life and I have had a lot going on. I will be trying to upload once every 7-9 days but this may slip occasionally when things get too much. Thank you for your patience, hopefully things will be back to normal soon!

Thanks for showing me how to build a piston bolt! I prefer this because even though its expensive you can also transport lots of items with chest minecarts which is useful in late game but in early game its better just to build a ice track but still thanks!
You can increase the speed of this by 50% if you move the rails along with a slimeblock and then increase the space between rails by one. Makes it way more expensive because of the slime blocks + immovable blocks though. (Should not be that much of a problem if you have a slime farm)
Yeah, I am aware of these designs, They're very fast 😂 aim of this one wasn't efficiency though, it's to get people into making piston bolts and understanding that they don't necessarily need to be too complicated. Plus, it's cheap and almost completely lag proof 🤷♂️😂

if you use netherack but in the overworld will it still go faster??
No, in the nether, you move 8 times faster than in the overworld. The speed of the piston bolt does not change regardless of what block you build it out of sadly.
I think its actually 20 blocks/ second, bc the signal travels at 20b/s it wouldn't make sense for the minecart to fall behind the signal

It was an addon, but it doesn't work anymore
I made i horizontal piston bolt on xbox recently. Only uses one piece of curved trackand. Super cheap. pistons only on one side of the track. And im basically floating while its pushing me forward so i can fly through sky with a one sided piston bolt and no track at all. Plus! I trqsnlocate throgh blocks. Any amount. Could be a mountain. 1000 blocks thick solid wall. Doesnt matter
Oh and it's fast. Not sure how fast but at least as fast as the one in this video

Can this work using detector rails?
No, this works on the fact that normal rails can bend causing a translocation bug with pistons and minecarts, as detector rails can't bend, I don't think it's possible. However, I do use detector rails in piston bolts when making them turn corners. Here's the video for that if you're interested:

@@Spoonmuppet I was thinking about starting the piston bolt using detector rails instead of using a button.
What do you do if you accidentally break a rail in the middle after you’ve built it?
Bend a rail into the correct position next to the piston bolt and then push it into place with a piston :) that way you don't have to completely redo the whole thing.

Haha yes! And they stay in their bent form when pushed so it works great for patching up piston bolts
see but from my initial thoughts this is slower than packed ice in a boat on bedrock edition at least still cool though i love it
packed ice is expensive

Can’t sticky pistons push minecarts three blocks? Is there a reason you went with standard pistons in this design ?
Um. I was not aware of that mechanic. I'll look into it but I don't think they can push a minecart 3 blocks, at least not in bedrock anyways. This design is supposed to be resource efficient and simple, if you're looking for the fastest, I recommend either forstdanjosh's design on navynexus' design.
@@Spoonmuppet honestly no man this is perfect! Those have so much to worry about in regards to the chunk lines as, I’m on console. This is perfect! I mostly commented to add to the algorithm, this deserves more views!

No. This one does not. Use ilmangos design

Bedrock edition doesn't have an F3 screen, this is Java.
Nah, it's a resource pack. You can get it on mcpedl. It's a debug screen for bedrock :)

It is patched it did not work in my world
It is not patched. Make sure the repeaters are all set to 1 tick delay. If you have any on 2 then it will not work. If you're still having trouble with it then join my discord server and I'll help you. The link is in the video description:)
