Whoever decided to give one of the most unwieldy powers in the series (whip) one of the most precision based challenge stages in the game needs to fucking watch out.
I'm still mad about there being 4 coins and a switch to a whole secret room hidden on the cieling which you then have to persicely jump and hit what's basically 2 different blind spots to keep a good time. I had to play this stage so many times even though I thought I completed perfectly before.

Water on the other hand can die in a hole for all I care. The dash attack is inconsistent af ughhhhhh

@@skythegamedev3751 Whip does get a lot easier once you know what you're doing because I got Platinum on EX mode pretty quickly and I will agree water is also awful.
imo bomb is the worst one by far, though I agree that water's section where you need to shoot water downwards is bs if you use the stick, but it's much better with the dpad
If you want Kirby to always run, try changing ZR to Left Stick press in the Switch's button configuration settings. This way, ZR can work as a sprint button.

Do you know what else would make the challenge stage area fun? They should include the Magolor Races from Kirby's Dream Collection.
This is the deluxe game, there's no chase no Smash ability.

It would be great, ESPECIALLY here in Europe since... well, you know.

Y’know I wasn’t expecting challenges for Sand and Mecha but they seem interesting enough.
Well, it wouldn't be right if there wasn't a challenge for the new combat abilities! Though, it only makes me want more fun challenges to challenge myself with. I really wish they'd added more abilities to play with in those challenge stages

Getting platinum on sand is a nightmare, you need to be absolutely perfect in every move you do in order to save as much time as possible, as well as collect every single coin.

This takes me back.
Mech Kirby is easily one of the most SLIPPERY abilities in the series. Seriously, Kirby on ice is less slippery than this thing. So the Mech challenge was obviously OH SO WONDERFUL.😊😊😊
Still surprised they didn’t bright any of the new challenges from kirby 20th anniversary or the smash ability

Yeah the mecha ability is like the mage sisters in star allies, can both shoot a powerful laser to enemies with no cooldown
If you gamers are veterans of the original Kirby's Return to Dream Land, I bet you would know how to get platinum and break the world record in this game!
Sorry, but i'm a normie, that spended all time in the game trying to get all of the Energy Spheres as a kid, thinking that i'd unlock a secret fight against Galacta Knight for that.

As a kid, i never dwelled into these challenge stages… they were too stressful for me, especially considering i am/was a completionist meaning that i would have been very frustrated to not get the platinum on every single one. However, i adored the one where you shoot the mechs by pointing with your wii remote. I replayed those so many times.

This was really helpful, but I'm stuck on the robot suit challenge. I just can't seem to get the quick charger laser, correct I'm sure eventually I do it but that one's going to be the hardest for me

Thanks for this but holy hell that whip stage was bs. I had gotten everything and even beaten ur record time on it but for some reason it gave me gold so I had to do it again and beat it but another few seconds lol.
Phew... Glad the runs don't have to be literally perfect to still get platinum... Can't wait to try this

Same here. I just finished getting gold for each ability and I thought I did pretty well in the challenges. It is a Kirby game though, so gold is never the best award you can get lol
If these stages expect you to be perfect, then the game has to be perfect to play and control.
I always hated getting the platinum for the EX versions

@@ghosthunter8166 it doesnt matter what rank you get for the visual number. You could get bronze, silver, gold or platinum which adds 1% each.

I am completing sword challenge ideally, but i keep getting gold medal. What am I missing?
Are you killing all enemies and collecting all the coins? I believe you need at least 30,000 points for a platinum medal.

The key to platinum is killing every enemy and getting every coin. The last factor is time which varies depending on the challenge.
For Sword you have to finish with a minute left
what time it take to get platinum? because obviously the rest is superfluous, get coins and enemies, so the important thing is the time in which you reach the goal.
There the question is what is the time needed in each challenge to obtain the platinum?
Oh my good the item challenge was so scrict in time, It took me 90 minutes...jeez.

I have no idea why they redesigned Wing.
Because it was based on a Native American Chieftain headdress and that could be seen as intolerant nowadays

No you just have to get at least bronze in all the challenges to get 100%. True completionists are the only ones who torture themselves with platinum medals

Just wanna say I got platinum on the sand challenge the day after I got the game, and it was 70 points higher than this because I was faster >:)

Who made this f***ing platinum metal? Have you thought of the people who loves perfect and sadly they can't do it because of this f***ing metal that was to hard? You need to act as fast as possible and the time isn't kind to everyone. This is Kirby game, NOT as difficult as cuphead. I don't find Kirby games relaxing, it is a kind of stress during the challenge.
Uhh, if you mean 100%, you only need Bronze medals .-., and if not...yeah, is kinda hard, but, i mean, is not needed for 100% so...yeah
