Pilates be QUICK to humble us lifting girlies. I started off trying to do Pilates on my rest days. HA HA HA! I now do it on Tuesdays and rest the NEXT day cause a zone 3 lift day followed by Pilates I'm not doing NOTHING for 48hrs after no thank you ma'am see you guys on Thursday and by you guys I mean my cross fit crew. Pilates girlies are another type of savage.
I do the pilates reformer and I LOVE it because it lets me stretch/use my legs at my pelvis as far as I need and it feels SO GOOD. I dont get the full stretch with anything else I've tried. I want to buy a reformer but I have to convince the husband since they're so expensive but it's been the only exercising I've truly enjoyed and feel good while doing it. Maybe someday 😂
Girl I used to think I hated cardio till I tried pilates. I will happily run my fat a** on that treadmill if it means I never have to do that again lmao😂😂😂
This made me actually lol because AGREED. Pilates is the main cause of having to climb up or down my stairs afterwards, or just admit defeat and end up moving downstairs for a day until I be a human again.
I’ve done all sorts of workouts! Powerlifting, spin, kickboxing, ran two marathons - But PILATES WILL HUMBLE YOU REAL QUICK 🥹 Every class, I’m like “oh my god!” 🤣
That “Ohhh..” after finding out it’s the lowest resistance takes me out every time🤣
