Being a leader for a kpop group it takes a toll and mentally and lot of leaders struggle to keep group together
@hi oh yeah it's true and they have to keep that image stable in front of the camera
My song and my vocals are way better than those cringe kpop groups
@@WHITESWAN_SWANLY ????? Who is this troll????????
@@preciouslyunhinged I don't know I saw their page supposedly they sing better than kpop idols I listened of snippet of it they sang horrible
@Zuleyma Flores no wonder...then am curious why she or he is running around saying they singer better...when there crappie..
We talk about leaders and the group members but there is always staff behind them. The staff is truly doing the hard work to help to make these idols amazing.
Or to dress them in completely ridiculous outfits 😂
@@sweetminamosa2413 yah staffs are only fr dressing😊 !
Staffs are the heart of a kpop grp. Staffs altogether make a kpop grp succeed.
The fact that Sakura was able to negotiated with HYBE even before signing into the company, and HYBE agreed with it, that's how in demand she is 💀👏
She's the Best ❤❤❤
I think one of the good things about this demand is that Sakura can be the shoulder for the leader to lean on. I think it's one of the reasons Chaewon and Sakura are so close. Chae knows she has someone to go to with her troubles. Sakura not being Korean might be an additional factor when it comes to difficult or complex issues that maybe some cultural differences might make it even harder than a KR person to deal with.
Honestly the group was built around Sakura and chaewon, they were trying to recruit minju as well but she rejected the offer, it would make sense that they would take their requests into consideration because the amount of fame they brought to the group was probably non negotiable, now I'm really glad Lesserafim has created their own name and every member is equally popular, honestly very surprising for a 1 year old group! But hats off to Hybe and Lesserafim for having great synergy!
@@atheistium they are also close because they were in a group together before le sserafim but as chaewon became the leader both of them got even closer since they were together Izone and went through the disbandment together. Sakura not being the leader works well since chaewon has someone to lean on that really and truly knows her and has the experience since sakura has been a J-pop idol for many years
Imagine losing a member to suicide like Jonghyun and Onew of SHINee was hauled back into the limelight after being on hiatus that year. How is any leader prepared for that? How will they handle it? Do they stay together or do they leave the company? Which is the best decision for the group and honoring the fallen member? If you ask me Onew had the toughest challenge that any leader can face. He was facing a firing squad of public opinion and his own feelings of grief, loss, and helplessness not only as a leader but as a person. He was suffering with depression and anxiety as well. He felt exacty the same way these leaders feel except he faced a worst-case scenario nobody wants. Then again the leader is as strong as the people he carries. It means the other members have to step up to support him and share the burden so it's not all on him. They don't want to see their leader crumble. Any group feels the same when they see their leader struggling.
Well said. Onew had an impossible situation. I think SHINee came through the other side of an insurmountable loss because they were able to lean on each other. Minho once said rather than stand in front of us, Onew comes into the middle and supports them. I have a lot of respect for all the leaders but especially our Tofu leader Onew. ❤
So, so, true! When I read the title of this vid, Onew was who I instantly thought of. I’ve been a SHAWOL almost from the beginning and watched SHINee’s evolution closely. I could tell our JinKi was often uncomfortable with his role as leader, and sometimes even caught grief from the other members over his leadership. SHINee are extremely close now, but that wasn’t always the case.
I think he often felt burdened by all that was demanded of him, which is why he used alcohol to escape the sense of crushing responsibility. SHINee was one of the KPop groups known to be squeaky clean, and devoid of any serious scandal until JinKi himself broke that record by causing an incident in a club while blitzed out of his mind on alcohol. There was a lawsuit, and calls by some “fans” for him to leave the group, and ultimately, he was forced to take a long hiatus and disappear from the public. When Junghyun died, he was forced to return under the worst circumstances ever. I remember us all being shocked by his appearance at the funeral, and it made me want to cry for him.
It must have been soul crushing, the sense of responsibility he felt over Jonghyun’s passing, which is why he later admitted on television that he wouldn’t allow himself to cry because he felt he didn’t deserve to. He probably felt he failed as a leader by not being there for one of the members when they needed him the most. But, he put his own needs aside to help navigate the uncertainty that followed, and help determine if they would continue as a group or fall to the wayside. All the members admitted having to go to counseling to overcome the grief of losing Jong, but I was most afraid JinKi wouldn’t be able to endure it.
Thankfully now, he’s managed to come out the other side, stronger and wiser than before, able to stand in the spotlight and remain SHINee’s leader. He said recently that he now feels he deserves the success he’s receiving as a solo artist, which means he felt undeserving for a very long time! No doubt, it’s one of the reasons he didn’t release a solo album before Jong’s passing, even though SHAWOLS were very vocal in calling for he to do so. I’m SO proud of him, and my heart swells with relief and thankfulness. He’s walked through the refiner’s fire, and emerged, shining and golden.
Onew's leadership qualities shine brightly both pre and post Jonghyun's passing. Pre-tragedy, he showcased exceptional guidance, unity, and support within SHINee, fostering a strong bond among members and fans alike. Post-Jonghyun, Onew's strength in navigating challenges with grace and resilience further solidified his role as a pillar for the group, inspiring hope and perseverance. His sincerity, humility, and unwavering dedication make him a beacon of leadership in both triumph and adversity.
Same With Jin Jin i cant imagine the misery he had been through after Moonbin died
Suho is still there as one of the best leaders. Losing members, getting scolded for standing up and the hate for not being able to keep EXO as EXO. He has basically taken the role of the members' mom. Just because Suho doesn't put his worries out, doesnt mean that he is relaxed all the time. When EXO debuted, Suho had to buy the member's food because SM was a shitty company who refused to do any sort of promotions (talk about Big3 privilege now). They had to hold up banners asking people to come to their fanmeet and gheir stages. Imagine what Suho went through. When he left for military, the members themseleves said how difficult it was for Suho and he deserved a break.
Adding to this also two of Kai’s dating, Baek’s dating and Chen’s marriage news. Suho is definitely one of the best leaders out there
Jumnyeon is amazing
EXO-L has Suho's back no doubt ❤ just like all the other EXO members coz #weareone #saranghaja 👍
Ya i consider Suho as the best leader of kpop❤
I agree he went through so much and he has always been there for the members in every aspect
Massive respect for all the leaders in the industry
My respect for SCOUPS just keeps on increasing.
I respect all the leaders. But this guy, really went through some hardest shit. As a trainee, he was all of a sudden told that he would be the leader, the pampered youngest kid of his family suddenly become the one with the most responsibility, his best friend at that time betrayed him affecting him mentally and emotionally, his company had a record of fucking up their groups with their mismanagement so the pressure to keep everything together was ten times bigger, SVT was doing everything from producing to choreographing to promoting in variety shows themselves and HE WAS IN CHARGE to monitor it all as the leader. He took all the pressure alone silently until he broke and had a severe anxiety attack in the middle of their concert in 2019, and STILL, this man always puts on a smile for his members and fans. He has never ONCE complained about his role as a leader even if it was so hard for him. What's sad is HE DOESN'T GET ENOUGH APPRECIATION HE DESERVES.
I hope you get all the happiness in the world SCOUPS. WE LOVE YOU.
WHO BETRAYED HIM? Who was his best friend wtf?
How could someone betray someonelikehim????🤨🤨
@shehrbano This person should be Jang Doyoon, he was the same age as Coups & they trained together with Nu'est members, but didn't make the final cut & was moved to debut as another group with Woozi & 2 more trainees in this group called Tempest. But the plan didn't go through & they were shifted to Seventeen.
It was said that Seventeen was supposed to have 17 members, & they started SeventeenTV. Pledis was doing badly that time, at the cusps of bankruptcy, so the debut plans was always pushed back & the members really suffered a lot to trained & the future seems bleek. But Coups & Doyoon being the oldest 2 members stuck together, was very close, went to school together & took care of the younger members. So everyone thought that since Doyoon was slightly older, he would be the leader when they debut. Yet in 2014, Doyoon left pledis & the reason he gave was that he wanna pursue acting, which he was more passionate in rather than being an idol. After he left Coups have to take up the mantel as leader and all, I read online comments mentioning before that him leaving is not because he wanted to act, but he sees no future in Seventeen & Pledis with the debut date kept being pushed back, & the company is going burst so he chose to leave instead.
So it was like a betrayal towards Coups, when they have stuck together for so long. I heard there's even a song written by the members to diss Doyoon too, but I'm unsure about this though. Doyoon says he doesn’t regret leaving the group, because acting is what he wanted to do, but it wasn't fully believed by people as back in 2017 he did try to audition for MIXNINE with another Seventeen pre-debut member MingMing , but he was rejected & MingMing passed the audition.
I hope my explanation is correct, I'm only a 3 year carat so I tried to understand as much as I could, from what I read online & past videos. 🙈
@@ShiiiJie13 omg that’s honestly sad :( i cant believe how coups mustve felt :( honestly thanku so much, for u typing all of this out. thanku smm❤️❤️
@@ShiiiJie13 so now what happened to Doyoon now? Did he finally debut?
@shehrbano Yes very sad. :[
No problem. 👍🏼
Every Leader in K-pop groups are so hard warking , respect to every Leader .
Jungwon from ENHYPEN became a leader at just 16 years old even though he is second youngest in the group and I respect him a lot for having to act mature despite his young age
This is another reason why I admire Bang Chan so much. He's amazing, not only did he pick all the members of Stray Kids himself, but he basically raised those boys. He is able to balance all of his idol duties while being the best leader ever. He is responsible, caring, and strong. His members are the most important thing in the world to him and he would sacrifice everything for them. He is 100% a born leader. SKZ are so lucky to have him. ❤
I love Chan
Same. He’s my ult bias 🖤
Love him to death, but he NEEDS TO STOP NEEDLESSLY APOLOGIZING FOR EVERY SINGLE NONSENSICAL THING. It annoys and upsets the true fans of Stray Kids and Chan.
I respect Sakura's request. I understand why she chose not to be the leader!! She's been Japanese and Korean idol for so long that she didn't wanted more responsibilities. The leader needed to be flexible! But she somehow binds the groups bond more and Chaewon is one of the best leader who melts up with any concept just like how a leader should be!!!
It's crazy that minju was almost part of the group but rejected the offer to join to focus on her acting career.
@@Duma2011 really??? Can u give me the source?
I'm surprised you didn't mention Ryu Sera. She was the leader of Nine Muses (9MUSES, Namyu) at debut (2010), but was demoted when she struggled with the agencies desire to have the members (including those still in high school) wear garter belts during the MV filming for "No Playboy". Ultimately, all of the members did wear the garter belts, but Sera's multiple breakdowns during the shoot resulted in her demotion. There were other factors including her inability (in the companies eyes) to wrangle in the other members and keep them from acting up; as well as the company being unable to recognize that the lack of instant success for the group was their own fault; not the individual members.
Given the hardships she had to endure, the poor treatment from the agency (Star Empire), and, to an extent, her demotion, she left the group/company in 2014.

Only 1/100 KPop artists survive in Korean industry
Dreamcatcher's JiU had to go through the disbandment of Minx and then struggle alongside her members for years to get the modicum of success that they have now. All the while keeping everyone aligned and happy. She's a fantastic leader.
I was just thinking of JiU! 💜 Honestly couldn't fathom how she manages to keep up a bright smile all the time. It helps that herself, her family & friends are generally very loving and empathetic people, but still...the amount of stress she has to regularly endure must be insane
JiU is such a strong, determined and amazing person, I'm glad she's more appreciated now.
the fact is JAYB is on another level. He made it all possible to continue as a group even after not renewing the contract. He is the one who made it possible with his members by his side and He deserve all big praises.
Totally agree! Jay B really stepped up as the leader of Got7!
And here we have Bang Chan in Stray Kids, whom some people call "son of JYP" because he is so busy with everything, that he seems like he's a heir of Park Jin -young xD
He is in fact 😂 . Or he is one of JYPe shareholders options of being in charge of training to be ( the other one in 2pm 😅 ) . It all depends on their performance in the shareholders eyes 😊 ( which include JYP himself )
In highschool i also refused to be a prefect, i was weak in my classes and the pressure of being a prefect is so hard,i ended up being a prefect for my all senior high school(3 years)...such a responsibility is so hard and challenging...i can totally relate in some way
I can relate, I feel pressured to be perfect and I can get upset whenever I make a mistake, so I get angry 😬
@Kaime Olympia totally....and yet u you tried to ve neutral or do the right thing but some peaple.make your nerves boil soooo much you want runaway
That's why I never did it. Never applied or tried to
My songs and my vocals are way better than cringe kpop
@@preciouslyunhinged😊😊😮
I am so proud of all of these idols that are the leaders as they are doing so well and are working hard to do the best they can at being the leader as there is a big responsibility when it comes to being the leader and they might feel the pressure to be perfect leader but I’m so proud of them all. I was at high school and got offered to be the leader of some groups and sometimes have to go check on younger students and help them and I felt pressure of doing it perfectly and not making a mistake so I felt like a burden and I had to make decisions that could hurt people so I was so scared but I’m okay now and I’m proud of these idols for how well they have done
I've kinda always felt like Onew underestimated himself or never took himself seriously as a leader in SHINee's earlier days due to his laidback personality, even though the members respected him as such. I just think that boy is a lot stronger then even he himself realizes, especially after losing Jonghyun. Onew is a warrior and that pillar the boys can always lean themselves against and feel safe. ❤
Taeyong gets my huge respect for handling NCT
why nobody is talking about soyeon gidle??? she has one of the best leadership qualities . after soojin scandal gidle could survive under her leadership
the amount of stress and mental breakdowns kpop leaders have to go through is insane and every single one deserves to be recognized. so, I would like to say we should respect EVERY KPOP LEADER cause the amount of stuff they have to go through is insane. WE LOVE YOU GUYS ❤️
Jihyo still slayed as the leader. No doubt the best leadership skill🙏🏻
This reminds me of that one time Suho had to appear in public all by himself to accept an award right after Kris left EXO. He was still so young and just 2 years into the career but had to be strong for the sake of entire team and he still keeps EXO going strong despite all the hate, mistreatment, lack of promotions and everything. He truly is one of the BEST leaders kpop has ever seen.
My top 10 leaders
Onew
Rm
Suho
Bangchan
Hongjoong
Yeji
Soyeon
Chaewon
Jungwon
Soobin
Had to put my favorite female leaders too
You maybe forgot, but I'm gonna add Jay B to your list for you.
Bangchan was born to be a leader. I don't think it was even a question for stray kids who would be their leader? He started picking his own members to put together a team
Best Leader
S.Coups best leader
Imagine being forced to lead a group with 12 other members when you were raised as the youngest of your family. Not to mention how he had to keep negotiating with Pledis just so they can get the boys basic neccesities. Seventeen has an amazing leader line witb Hoshi leading the performance and Woozi leading the music,
but we truly appreciate S.Coups for his ability to manage and keep the bond between all the boys.
Oh yes! Coups is a the leader of the leaders, him and the team literally brought 17 up from the dust to the position they are at right now ❤ and a lot of it is scoups fighting tooth and nail to make sure they got what they deserved!!
He may be very cute and more like a maknae in his mannerisms but he's the strongest voice in seventeen and i love that he is the leader in seventeen!
Seventeen leader S.coups & BTS leader RM they both really worked sooo hard for there success, they fight for their members 💜💎
Taeyong with 19 kids:
Bang Chan best leader! He chose the members himself, he makes most of their music, he live streams to talk to his fans almost weekly! I love him!
Can we just take a moment to appreciate all Kpop groups leaders
Its a lot of work; even harder when a company puts problematic members in a group. I.e., visuals, greedy ambitious individuals…
JayB is one of the Best leader.
What he had done for the Group/Members and the things he was struggling with/going through.
JayB got my respect for what he did in a so young age.
It’s Bang Chan from SKZ and Soyeon from (G)I-DLE for me. One of them was given the opportunity to put his own group together, but then I’m sure there was a ton of pressure on him to see if the experiment would succeed. He kept them together after Woojin left and still runs himself ragged writing, producing, performing, and taking care of his members, even though he’s been dealing with his own health problems for quite a while.
I love all the (G)I-DLE girls but Soyeon has been the creative driving force since the beginning-she comes up with concepts, writes songs, produces, etc. (although I know that other members, especially Yuqi, have contributed to songwriting more recently). She also not only kept the group together after Soojin (who was beloved by her members) was unceremoniously removed, she steered the group towards even greater success, which is pretty impressive, all while still being that creative driving force.
Are either of them perfect/have either of them not made any mistakes? Of course not, they’re human. But they’re definitely my favorite leaders.
i was searching for this comment and yes! i couldn't agree more!!
I was searching for bang chan ... finally i found one
@@ichrackdali1159 I’m glad there’s someone else who feels the same way!
@@nanawhonanaurbusiness for real though, and I even forgot to mention his livestreams with fans literally almost every week for 4ish years. The dude does everything in his power to be the best leader he can be. That’s not to say that there aren’t other amazing leaders! But as someone who’s been into k-pop since 2nd Gen, he really is exemplary
Where's Suho? He's a great leader 💪
True! Suho, Bangchan and Scoups are the only true true leaders. Like getting scolded for saying anything, losing members, and standing up.
lol so the rest leaders just faje leaders then 😂
And he’s hot
What about jihyo she was just 17 when becoming a leader😢
She was 18, but your point still stands.
Big respect for RM. He had to represent BTS in one of the most difficult music industries to exist: the American music industry
Jay B did an excellent job with Got7! It wasn’t easy for him but he sure does make it seem like it’s so easy. Jay B did an excellent job maintaining Got7 when they left JYP Entertainment. I am so proud of Got7 and the members solo career. Got7 forever! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
At this point RM should run for president🤣🤣🤣
"At the highest pressure and temperature , either you shatter apart or you become a diamond"
Taeyeon forever has my respect as the OG leader of SNSD. She always did a phenomenal job of representing the group, stepping in when necessary, and honoring all of the member's different personality types and argument styles.
I think the leader position is honestly a waste as it puts too much stress on one member to lead them all to success. That’s why I respect groups more that chose to not have one leader but rather have them all lead in different areas. Also all of these situations of these idols bottling up their feelings literally proves that point.
You make an excellent case, because in the end, the appointed “leader” don’t really call the shots anyway. It’s the company management > then the staff who make decisions. An example of the second part of your point is Loona’s Haseul. She along with two others (Kim Lip & Yves) are touted as the leaders of their own subunits, so really the burden would be divided into thirds (though Haseul is technically leader of Loona as a whole, i like to believe her, KL and Yves see eye-to-eye)
Respect for Taeyong- has 23 children and more to come 💚
I think that's why all my favorite Idols happened to be leaders bc of how hard working they are and all the responsibilities they take
Ex. Bangchan, RM, Irene, and Hwasa
The leader in MAMAMOO is actually Solar
@@_jungwonie_1922 oh thank you so sorry! Just recently got into K-Pop
@@jess4334 No problem and there is no reason to apologize
so the leader of the group is basically a manager of the group
They usually don’t ever give the leader role to the oldest member as it would be double power which may cause more issues. But kudos to all the leaders of all groups as it is an extra burden on your shoulders. You don’t get anything extra either.
Bang chan from skz❤❤
leaders arent about the age.. leader is about the responsibility, to bring your team mood and togetherness, to make the team do their best, protect the team.. yeah its looks cool chosen as the leader but its harder to do
Best leader, Bang Chan.
No matter how much hardship that they have faced, they still kept moved and did thier best.I really appreciated, respected & admired thier determined leadarships 👍💙
Team members as leader, it’s actually being fuller responsible in groups, it’s actually really taking stressful situations in vocabulary too.
That’s why, the group without leader more sucess
I wouldn't want to be the leader either. I always bias the leaders cause it's a lot of work
For all practical purposes, 박지효 has been the leader in the middle of TWICE for 18 years! Jihyo was present to welcome each of the other members into the company. This means she also has 18 years experience communicating with JYP himself. ¿May I assume that 박지효 did not get a mention in this video because of her exceptional success?
I wish you mentioned what happened to sera in 9muses documentary
That was so cruel what happened to her
Overall great video as always
Bang Yongguk of B.A.P is a great leader ❤ He is a great person and stand up strong by leading his members for their lawsuit with company in 2014 ❤
They so need to reunite. Enough already. He has an identical twin I believe. He can be another member.
@@alantes his identical twin is not an idol. Being an idol is not as easy as what u thought. They can continue as 5 members and its enough. Anyway, reuniting is also not easy to do as all of them are in different companies and some members still need to do their military service. So, lets just hope for the best from all bap members 🤍
I will never forget when Chaewon had to speak about garam’s scandal because hype didn’t want too that’s heartbreaking😢
leaders in kpop is such a huge responsibility, its so mentally draining to keep a good atmosphere going
My favourite leader are Qri T-ara's 5th leader (T-ara goes with the rotation system), Solar from Mamamoo, Irene from Red Velvet, Seungyeon from CLC, Soyeon from IDLE, Sihyeon from Everglow (I would still consider E:U as my favourite leader in Everglow), Youngheun former Blackswan, Karina
Just give you information about Youngheun. She left the group with Judy and now the leader of Blackswan is Fatou.
Blackswan also added 3 new members, Nvee from US, Gabi from Brazil, and Sriya from India. So Blackswan didn't have Korean members. They just comeback with "Karma" in the end of May this year
My top 5 leaders are bangchan, taeyong, sangyeon, soobin, jungwon

My personal top two leaders are Taeyong (NCT is huge and he does an amazing job with everyone) and G-Dragon. But honestly every leader I’ve seen is amazing and hard working and should all be more appreciated because no matter if your group is small or big it’s still hard and not easy

I can only speak to how amazing RM is as Leader of BTS, it's also heartwarming to see him mentoring Soobin, TXT's leader.
To be fair in Hybe they never make their group oldest member the leader is always another member and the leader will then have some one to depend on. RM has Jin and Soobin has Yeonjun
it's just my opinion but the leader should be the one who can stand for the members, not the one that deal with problems or agency... that's group' manager job. They already have a lot of work being idols...
I really look up to rm,scoups, onew, suho, bangchan as leaders even tho it must be hard on them too and I also respect the other K-pop leaders
I feel like Yeji is the epidemy of a kpop leader. She just exudes leadership energy.

Jennie should be the leader , she trained for the longest time , also she helped the members a lot during their trainee days , lisa said jennie was only one who could speak english at that time , she was really a saviour she helped lisa a lot to communicate, jisoo can emotionally balance them and rosé and lisa our maknae
Leeteuk Leader standard 💙💙💙
Five of kpop group best leader.
1. Gdragon
2. Rm
3. Suho
4. Bang Chan
5. Leeteuk
Two of the most successful girl groups in history don't even have leaders: Blackpink and NewJeans. NewJeans doesn't even have fixed positions at all. This may only be possible with certain labels and/or group dynamics, though.
If I remember correctly, Jisoo is Black Pink's leader, or at least she was listed as such at the beginning during their debut era.
I wonder how often a Leader steps aside for another member to take over? My second fave group, CLC (After Twice) did this, when Seunghee stepped-down, and Seungyeon took over.
Anybody know of similar situations?
Everglow change leader from E:U to Sihyeon.
No other leader has the pressure as RM of BTS. They are the biggest boy group ever. He has spoken at the UN and at the White House. He became a diplomat.. and BTS has been so musically successful.. RM has been so consistently stable in keeping the group together when they have a whole country on their backs
Soooo TRUE 👍
I want to hug Sowon right now 🥺 she was so strong.
Glad that you also mentioned Apink's Chorong ♥
Cuz the leader..is well a leader. It's a mentally straining position. You gotta take care your members and such
This situation is kind of relatable to me.... I was an average student in school but suddenly I was asked to be the class representative by our class teacher, and then suddenly there are so many responsibilities and there is no scope for mistake, everything has to be taken care perfectly, there are any times where I have to stand in between the teachers and my classmates.... there are so many things which happened in my life only because I was the class rep, it was hard back then but thinking about it now it was a wonderful phase....... I am sure all the Kpop Leaders will be feeling the same, no matter how much hardships we have to go through but if the members are happy that is what all it matters... all those hardships will be worth it.
My top three leaders are:
1 Bang chan ( Stray kids),2 Soobin ( TXT), 3 Yeji ( Itzy)
A leadership role is important that it can be a hit or miss for the group. Some groups would actually would have been better off without a leader. Especially smaller groups with members close in age. It's nice to see more agencies exploring that as well like what Blackpink had and now in Newjeans. Ultimately when a company appoints a leader, with that responsibility also comes a lot of opportunities especially when the company is building up the image of that member as a leader - they are usually also given the chance to do more solo stuff which helps their personal growth and brand outside the group. And those opportunities are not avaialble for the rest of the members. It's really important to appoint a leader who can step up and do the job else, it might be better also for the company to just not appoint one. Big groups (more than 5) or those with large age range especially minors and adults debuting together definitely need one tho.
Bang Chan😭
Been a leader many times, in my course, has made me not fond of the role at all... Not I dropped it cause it is too much..
It is so much pressure and the responsibilities are really taxing... also that mentality of being the best and also reliable is hard to achieve, when you an below average intellegence and your groups members are smarter than you.. W0rst of all, I am not good in relating to other people that easily and my members complained of how distanced or how anxious I am... Moreover, there are members who can't appreciate your effort or those bullies within your group which destroyed the dynamic
Bangchang is a really good leader of straykids I think him and RM are amazing leaders... I feel for the leaders they are young and responsible for others and every move they make..I'm proud of these good leaders ❤
You forgot to mention that sometimes the leader also have to deal with a problematic member who is lazy and when she disciplined the member, it was seen as bullying. This what happened to AOA Jimin. AOA Mina was lazy and often missed the group practiced, but then she claimed that Jimin was bullying her when all Jimin did was trying to discipline her for the sake of the group.
Jimin was very careful when the situation happen. Mina just went on and on until her story didn't made any sense.
Same with Hyunjoo of April. Sly bxtches fr
At first I was confused why E:U gave her postion up but I understand now
Being a leader is hard but I like it when companies allow the members to pick the leader out of them. Chances are, the members are a lot more likely to know each other than the company knows them. Like Jihyo was voted in leadership because she already had many qualities of a leader and was pretty outspoken, responsible and caring but is the 5th oldest in the group.
Chaewon is the best leader because she has Sakura to lean on ❤. I love Le sserafim
When I was a kid, I looked up to adults wanting to grow up and be like them smart and wise. But when I became an adult, I came to a shocking realization that most adults around me were just old children. Being the older one does not always translate to more maturity, more mentally stable and more wise. I have met people who are younger than me and have amazing command of difficult situations and more often than not arrive with correct decision making.
I cant imagine Jin Jin was feeling right now after Moonbin died hes must been hurt mad and devastated
I think treasure‘s hyunsuk and Jihoon are a great example of how groups should not have only one member, especially for 8+ member groups. nobody deserves to be left alone with such a high responsibility in my opinion
Suho is the best leader I've seen ever. He is one of the strongest reason why exo is still together as a group. He always takes responsibility and come forward as a strong person even when he feels low. Recently when kai was getting enlisted ne was the one who shaved his hairs which is a fathers responsibility but as kai's dad is no more suho was there like a real elder brother for him. He went to his recording in the morning at the time of his cb. Still remember how sehun, who acts too strong cried out when suho was enlisting. He has always acted as an strong and comfort person for both exo and exols. Ppl and even solo stans of members hate him the most for no reason. He deserves every single happiness in the world. If i continue to write about him I'll never stop.
Best leader he is❤
RM is the best leader in kpop, he works very hard and excels in his role, he has all the qualities that make him the best leader, he is smart, intelligent, reliable, helpful, a strong communicator, he has always been there to support his beloved members. BTS would never be the same group without him as the greatest leader he is. RM demands total respect of a great Man he is, very admireable and we love him so ❤️💜
i can bet you literally only know rm🤣, there are so many more leaders who are the personification of what you just explained☠️
Not as good as haseul
Many K Pop leaders have done the same. They all work hard, responsible, smart, organized and motivate their members. RM is not doing anything different than what other leaders have been doing since the position was made.
You say this as if RM is the only leader in K-Pop who does all the things you just said and the rest do not. 🤣
He arguably may be one of the best, but not THE best. No one is; it’s subjective.
Don’t discount the other leaders who works just as hard and are the best to lead their respective groups. They are just as smart, intelligent, a strong communicator, cares about his members, etc. 😂 ✌🏽.
@@ChaseR-if6yd no one can be as good as haseul :P
NEVER? Chaewon of Le Serrafim asked to be "THE" leader and she was the only one who did. Soyeon is "THE" leader of (g)-idle because she wants to be. She alone held the group together after Soojin was terminated. I think using the phrase "want to be The leader" is misleading. I may not want to do something but for the sake of the group whom I love and because I see the necessity then I will step up and lead because I "want to".
NAMJOON IS THE BEST LEADER IN KPOP
He could run for president and lead a nation
Taeyeon almost left Girls' Generation before their debut when she was appointed as the leader if I remember correctly
I admire mark as nct dream’s leader. He lead them from such a young age, but succesfully made them the best and closest team i’ve ever known. And the members also adore mark like a friend, but also respect him in the same time. Thats hard to achieve
Yes and the fact that they weren't able to pick a leader for that brief period when mark had graduated from dream and they used to call him to do the greeting 🥲 Bittersweet moments now
I know everglow's EU passed off her leadership to Sihyeon for similar reasons you mentioned.
After this video my respect for jungwon has raised because becoming a leader at such young age he is definitely a great leader
I think Twices Jihyo always did amazing as a leader and still is
typical SM Entertainment not to give a group name after the group leaves SM Entertainment
Luckily GOT7 from JYP can discuss without having to go to court
