Your saying about technical chart is funny and true. Investing scenarios are different for different guys. Instead of looking deep into technical or fundamental, I look into sentiment. Market sentiment as well as individual. For the later I am following your talk. The sentiment is when you say buy, I will sell and vice versa. It works better. Eg: ITC, Kalyan Jewellers.

You need to file tax, long term capital gain tax for equity is 10%. For a financial you u are exempted to pay tax upto 1lakhs of your gain..
