My dad a machinest for 35 years always says a person in need of a proper education in machinery needs tools and bits and any donations to these programs is worth every penny.
Love that Titan and his corporate sponsors are helping these leaders of the future. Top spot baby, booom
boom
That’s awesome. Big shout out to Titans of CNC for the push in education. Much love and gratitude
Simple touching moment to watch.....
The best part of it is at the end when Titan is talking to all of the teachers from all the other schools and they are WORKING TOGETHER to make it happen.
Its a cooperation spirit and not competition between these teachers to make it happen....... BOOM
I tried to take machine shop at the local vocational college in Shreveport. Not far from Grapevine. Too late. They closed the program the year prior. Like 2008. Man I was disappointed. So I went to automotive tech school instead. And was the top student in class. I was the only one who was allowed in the shop without the professor. So while everybody sat in class and learned book material, I worked in the shop 🤣 because I already knew everything from learning it all on my own.
I only went to school because no one would really hire me without some sort of formal training. I went to work before I ever completed school. Which is also why I was allowed in the shop alone. It was also because I was 30 and everybody else was 18 or 19 👌
Great story. Nothing comes without hard work and passion. You've got it. 👍
Titan,
What you are doing is inspiring. After 40+ years in the industry I have retired. It is wonderful seeing all these young people showing the enthusiasm and passion for machining. I made a good living machining and they will as well. There is a great deal of satisfaction taking a project from start to finish, knowing that you have done something that will help someone.
This is really cool, Thank you guys for thinking of the little guy 👍
Love it! Exactly right. If manufacturers expect a premium workforce, they really need to pony up tooling to educate these kids. High school students have the intellectual capacity to perform these tasks, but schools just don't typically have the funding to properly educate these kids. Even just a little bit of premium tooling can go a very long way with the right teacher. CNC is just the right thing for a modern shop and students. CNC enforces many of the concepts a student would learn in regular classes... Math, physics, programming, 2D/3D sketching/modeling... all this and more.
Passing the torch along! Hell yeah baby!
This is the world I want to live in! Great gesture. I love this trade!
I went to TBA here in TC Michigan but we didn't have this program but in school I did take drafting was a fun class back when AutoCAD was 10,000 for a student. Big shout out to Titians whole team never leaving out the small guys. I would have never have used Kennametal tools here in my home CNC without Titan.
If these kids continue to bring the same passion for the trades to the workforce, the trades will be in a good spot. 🤘
You ROCK Titan !!!!!!!
I loved machine shop in HS, sadly those classes left my HS many years ago. It baffles me how and why schools closed down shop classes. learned so much in them.
Dude you are a hero, your probably the greatest man in the industry im not a machinist but I’m a industrial mechanic/crane technician/ welder I watch every video you guys make in part because you are an inspiration and I smile everytime I hear BOOM!!! the things you do for so many people renews my faith in humanity
I started on machines with engraved dials and scales before digital readouts. Now in 2023 watching your program with these fine young students is exiting and rewarding to the future of the trade. Hats off to all of you and thank you for your interest and effort.
Love seeing the excitement from Gabe and his students! Shout out to the partners for their generous donations!
It’s great to see the kids doing this. Well done Titan and team.
You guys are rock stars! Bringing machining to the people! Outstanding! 🖖😀
Young men are the foundation of progress for any country. Well done, Mr. Titan, by supporting them directly and being with them. That is why I consider you my role model in this life BOOM 💥
👍 Big shout out to Titan and Barry
Gabe is one of the best educators out there. Great to see the Building Blocks serving as an educational foundation for future machinists around the country. Big props for all the sponsor donations!
Thank you so much, this is great, my son is considering this program. One thing these guys probably need is better coolant, I am using oemeta 875 here at my home shop, stuff is great, but any of the new cutting fluids would likely be a huge improvement as they are far less toxic than a lot of the current cutting fluids on the market.
Titan, I'm 65 but I did take machine shop back when I was in high school. I haven't done any machining since then but I still enjoy and appreciate machine work, even if it's only watching.
I'm wondering what our machining industry in the USA would be without you and your over the top enthusiasm and push for machining education.
Thank you, keep up the good work and keep up the fantastic videos. you have a fantastic team. 👍
.......and teach Donnie millimeters.
"Donnie's" is not an accepted measuring scale 😅
Awesome! Love to see where the magic happens! Great job to Gabe and all those students!
Love all the normal epic videos but this right here was truly inspiring! Seeing all those kids excited to learn and showing their skills off at such young ages... Thanks to Titan, the partners, Gabe and other teachers, these kids have bright futures ahead of them! BOOM!💥
2:02 Titan watching his kids grow and progress in this industry 🎉
Time to get that money, 🤑 💯🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇲!!! Good deed 👏👏👏👏 TITAN!!!! Shout out from Houston, Texas and to all Machinist. I love this trade best decision I ever made!!!
This video is honestly just wonderful and makes me happy, seeing so many great people in the trade! Thanks to u Titan and ur amazing team, keep it up💪🏻🎉
Thanks Nico... and thanks for being a member.
I really appreciate you and love this trade. Honored to be apart of all of it and my team.
Titan
You deserve it Gabe! I enjoy following you and your student’s journey across the social platforms each school year. Because of you and all of your hard work, these students have a bright future in industry. Thank you for all that you do ❤
A special THANK YOU to all of our partners who are passionate about bringing awareness to the trades, helping us change people’s lives on a daily basis.
Titan I think you are doing a FANTASTIC job of bring awareness to the industry. I'm in New Zealand and brought a CNC and self taught. I absolutely love it. I'm 53 and worked heavy machinery all my life. I'd quit tomorrow if I had the skills to get a job in a good shop. My youngest son 14 has become very competent on Fusion and making quite complex parts with the 3d Printer and I'm just starting to introduce him too CNC machining. He could take over my business but I'd prefer he got involved in this.
Filling the name of Titans is no small task, you guys are fulfilling it man, that is so awesome. I wish this type of content was available when I was younger. Great stuff, so good to see them actually taking advantage of it.
That was sooo cool to see. You can just see the excitement in the kids and the love for the craft that they are developing. What an inspiration to see, makes a non trades person like me want to find a way to get into the trade.
Love it❤
Man I wish we had this many guys in my class.
Dude. I am not a CNC person at all. I have zero experience, but I am fascinated by it hence the sub to the channel. I greatly appreciate these kinds of programs and Titan's ongoing support for the industry and community. Wow. Just Wow.
You guys are legit the best! Never fail to make an awesome video! And to help out the next generation is just next level 🤘🏻🙌🏻
This is the type of school we need more of, universities should have these type of majors ...instead of social studies
Love that man video man ♥♥
I love all the Bridgeport millers, my favorite machine. I have done some seiously accurate work on them.
Just when you thought Titan couldn't do things better...here he is supporting the education side by giving a school one hell of a shot in the arm in tooling. Get them started early and started right!
You are an inspiration for all, Titans! Shout out to all of the super talented kids moving up in the industry. Be competitive and stay motivated!
I wish our program had HSS tooling! Good guys like that instructor makes good things like this that much better to watch.
This is so awesome! There is such a huge need for CNC Machinists.
I started as a cnc programmer when I graduated high school and I loved it. I ended up leaving the industry and becoming a software engineer which I've been doing for many years now. However, videos like this remind me that I still absolutely love cnc machining even if I don't do it any longer. It's amazing that you were able to contribue to the lives of these students. You're doing great work and deserve all the credit in the world.
awesome :)👌
Been in steel industry 45 years, bravo to you.
This is a mile from my work. Would have loved for yall to come in and show us a few things
I love you guys. Long live America!
Heart of Gold, Way to go Titan!
In the mid 90s I was told in a computer lab that I needed to slow down for the sake of the class & teachers. There were already 5 or so other students who not only were able to login but start the lesson without any hand-holding by the teachers. I'll always resent that teacher & her assistant who should have been encouraging those students to attempt computer programing at the age of 7 or 8.
We need a new generation of teachers who know how to give those self-motivated students the resources such willing to reach out to community college professors or trades teachers. There are likely 8 year olds who know how to change the oil of a truck and they're passionate about being able to one day own a truck. A good teacher probably could get those students sponsored by Snap-on such a basic ratchet & wrench set.
Being able to turn bolts & change oil at a young age could potentially lead to a passion in CAD design once those kids want to do things such as build a custom roll-cage. CAD-design is a middle class income, especially with older workers retiring.
In glad my class had fun that day i wish i was there but i was at the hospital gabe is such an amazing teacher always pushing us the right in the right path yeah i was upset i coukd not meet titan that day but its still amazing what he does
Outstanding! Love the Pelican case 👍
Went to school here right across the hall and Gabe was an awesome teacher!!
To hand them kids a Mitutoyo ip67 caliper is probably the best investment you can do for them ! that way they learn right away that everything is beginning with a good caliper, " Titan you are Awesome ! Boom
i did the polymer tech program there and it was a great experience kinda regret not doing the advaced manufacturing now that I work with CNC lathes
Greetings from Germany.
At first I was wondering WTF is so special about this program, I see it every day. But then I realized that, contrary to other countries, every single one of those students are swimming against the current, so to speak.
IIRC, in the USA, everyone is pushed into a college track, no matter how unsuitable. So every single student (and teacher) chose deliberately to go against the mainstream and learn CNC machining instead of intersectional underwater basketweaving.
I respect that a lot!
Go for you and thank you. Hope you enjoy the Mitten
I love mitutoyo I'm always happy to have a measurement tool of mitutoyo, In my opinion they are much better than mahr and tessa
I learned in a run down school. I hate to talk badly because they are trying to turn it around but with no students and few instructors they're gonna close it soon.
very interesting trying my best out here in nigeria.
That’s so dope
Titans can You make a video about slitting saws? HSS or carbide? They are quite troublesome for cutting things and hard to get right parameters.
like bro when is titan coming to my school :(
Boom barry it's op bro
Never give up your dream of becoming an MTV Host.
Amazing❤
That's awesome I wanna learn how to do this sadly I'm too poor and I have to kids to raise alone
Because they use the tools they're given to the specs they're given! When tool reps come here I run them at speeds they give me.
If they work, I push them harder and faster.
Push it till it breaks then back of lf 10% Right!
less talk, more cnc!
Our future is in good hands.
How much is the large height level?
My machine shop teacher saved my life if it wasn't for him. I would probably be in jail.
Mr Frank Torrenti
I'm pretty sure he works at globus now.
Wow 👌
Almost like a German Aprenticeship School !
Mmm.. forbidden fusilli.
Thanks to all the most important things we must learn from cnc are much better,
I love l love l love to do like that ,am sorry how ,when ,sosomany questions to my heart,?
