This is so accurate... I have Saturn in Scorpio in my 7th house, so I really feel this. I never truly developed a relationship that I was comfortable in aka where I felt safe enough to love until my son was born when I was 37. I learned that I didn't need the love of someone else that I had been seeking my entire life. I just needed someone safe to love.
That's interesting. I have this placement too. I'm 39 now. Still trying to figure it out.
The last thing you wrote resonates. Its like, love is an exalted humiliation. So finding someone safe to love makes that easier.
The same placement. I am 38, all I ever got is heartbreak. Did therapy, loads of working on myself. Still nothing is changing.
My parents both have/had scorpio Saturn in scorpio, as well as I. Lots to learn and overcome on my end. But I'm in it, and i am willing to do anything to conquer this, the right way. I may have the advantage... but also th negative karma of the family legacy. I am the only one with the scorpio sun, ascendant, pluto and saturn. All but pluto in the 12th house. Although I'm born with immense empathy and compassion, I was born into a family that had absolutely no intimacy, everything was surface. Even as a child, I refused to become like them and have always kept this promise to myself. Life for me is hard to keep living without being loved and known... but i keep meeting surface people, and when i try to break down walls...its like I become a foe. I hope one day I am allowed this beauty. Because without it, it's just not worth living.
Saturn in Scorpio here. I've noticed people with this placement are secretive. Since it's Scorpio they have heavy karmic issues - most will have endured tramua and issues related to the themes of Scorpio through life ( betrayal, abuse ( particularly sexually since Scorpio rules the gentiles), intense and dramatic situations , psychological issues, major ups and downs and the changes in them are major - they don't stay the same like many others do through life. Saturn in Scorpio through their troubled childhoods and adult disasters almost go through a rebirth in their life - their transformation both inside and out is major ( compared to others). However, because of these experiences they don't trust others. Dont expect someone with this placement to reveal all to you - you may suspect they have endured much in life, but you will never really know what it is - the energy of Scorpio is hidden and beneath the surface.
I have this placement, plus Scorpio moon and rising and I’m not secretive, but I did have a difficult childhood.

@9:03 I think this was the most golden part of the video. You *MUST* do things the right away, NO SHORTCUTS/NO CUTTING CORNERS, with this placement. This was key info. Trying to take shortcuts throughout life has caused me to hit rock bottom. I needed to hear someone clearly and directly state this in a way that I understood because it was only a somewhat floating idea in my head prior to watching this video. I've always experienced this... im tired of being in relationships. I go in debt and I'm always in loss. I need to make sure my partner wears the pants and provides financially and is generous and giving... and invests in me.

Thanks, that is helpful. trust has always been a huge block but i didn't really think how it effects others. and i overcompensate by being more superficially open, but then people don't really respond the way that i feel i was thinking they would. and then i realized i guess they see through the superficiality which also is hard. but the answer i guess has been to be slow and take my time and let trust happen when it happens but also try and challenge my reluctance to trust others. it's still often 'too little, too late,' but hopefully someday it will work out and 'be enough.' idk. anyways felt really accurate to me.

Saturn in Scorpio, in the 3rd house here. I've had a lot of work to do on communication, standing up for myself, being more authentic, self worth issues, & fear of intimacy. It definitely doesn't happen overnight. It was utter chaos for a couple years straight, but I made it out the other side stronger than ever 🙌

My Saturn placement is in Aries, but it is in the 8th House, which is ruled by Scorpio. I absolutely REFUSE to get into a relationship. I've been used and abused my whole life, cheated, betrayed by family, traumatized by authorities, fired from jobs I loved, lost ideal living circumstances and people I cared about, had my most valuable possessions stolen from me or destroyed... just a long list of betrayal and loss. If I am going to be in any relationship at my current age - 27 - I am going to be the one in absolute control of it, know everything that goes on, and make sure that my partner remains undyingly loyal to me. If they betray me, I will hunt them down and... you fill in the blank.
