It turned out great Katy! your greens in your photos are so vivid that they just pop against the pink! I appreciated you showing how you did the flip flaps on the outside and how you make that work!
I'm SO GLAD Stampin' Up! now has Flip Flaps! Funny story...back when you had to apply to teach at CTMH's Conventions, I taught interactive layouts where I would "make" my own flip flaps...a year later, flip flaps were released!
I love the additional photos in the 8x10 and how you built those insert pages to coordinate so beautifully. So happy I wasn't the only "lagger" in the group, but I might be next time if I don't get my act together! 😘
Great tut on cutting the FFs! I may or may not have giggled every time you said mushrooms while using those vibrant 60s colors. 🤣🤣 I doubt I'll ever have pictures of any 'shrooms for a layout, but they are adorable on cards.🩷
Those vibrant 60s colors are so much fun! 🧡 I saw a title the other days that that said "magic memories" and I totally read it as "magic mushrooms"...lol
Thank you for this video! It was amazing to see the two different ways to attach flip flaps! I’ve toyed with the differences but so far none are attached! 🤣 this provided a great visual to both ways they can be attached ANNNNNND to see how we can utilize the 8x12…..I have a few but haven’t used any because I love the 6x12 size which obviously are no longer available! Great video in so many ways! Thanks!
You're welcome! I'm glad it was helpful! That's another reason I attach to my layout base - I don't scrapbook chronologically so I never know where a layout with flip flaps is going to go in my albums. The 6x12 used to be my favorite then I started liking the larger footprint. I love that with heat tools, you can make whatever size you want so they can all be my favorite...lol. TFW!

Being from Texas, we don't see a lot of green in my part so I went crazy snapping all the photos of the vegetation...soooo green! TFW, Kelly!
Thank you for this. I was a CTMH demo years ago. I love them. And glad SU is going with scrapbooking. And I still have a plethora of flip flaps.

Love this page with the flip flaps.
Thank you!
Thanks for going through cutting the protector for the flip flaps!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for showing how to use the flip flaps. I have use learned about these and they are so fun.
They're definitely a fun way to add some interaction to your layouts! TFW!
Beautiful companion pages.
Thank you so much!

It’s a great way to get a lot of photos on a page! The laggers won't ever get stuck in quicksand, so there's that...lol
@@scrappinkaty 🤣🤣🤣 now that is true!!!
So cute!!! 🍄 I am very inspired!
That makes me so happy 😊

@scrappinkaty magic! Bruhahaha🤣🤣
Thank you! Great video. I appreciate the lesson in using flip flaps! I think for me, adhering to the outside will be easier.
That's a great idea! It really makes the process easier especially if you immediately go put the layouts in an album and you know the order they go 😊

@ I have a heat tool but I have never used it before 🤣 you might need to insert that in one of your videos or maybe use it has CDT Tip video….heehee
@josiebrown-ys2br i love it! Maybe I'll show it in a tip...it's been a while since I've used it in a video
@@scrappinkatyyaaay! That will be great! I’ll be on the lookout 😂for
