She really is a very humble sweet person
The entire team who work with her (choristers, musicians, technicians, etc.) have never had a signed contract.
It's been like that since her very beginnings with René.
René was a man of trust and it was always this way that he negotiated.
If someone did not respect the agreements negotiated verbally, too bad.
You never see this kind of contract in show business. They usually 3-4 lawyers.
She's indeed humble

She is literally one of the biggest artist of all time and still so humble , down to earth & honest ...there is not many out there like Céline ... my friend worked with her on a past tour & he told me she was the best to work for / with ( he worked with a lot of stars ) she is really special .

I don’t care how much time passes or whether she has hit music or not, I will forever be a hardcore fan of Celine Dion. Watching her live is definitely on my bucket list. She’s just lovely and such an inspiration. Also, her marriage was totally awesome. Everyone criticized it at first and many jokes were made about the age difference and she and her husband just proved everyone wrong, including her family members who didn’t think it was a good idea for them to marry. Honestly, that marriage slayed my life. I love everything Celine! I will die a fan of hers. Shes great, not only on stage, but off stage in her personal life as well, and that’s just rare to see. Celine rocks!

@@heatherstub I bet that was amazing I had tickets for the last date of the courage tour in London but Covid came along and then celine took ill I was privy to see her 3 times 20th June and 29th July 2017 London and then 5th July 2019 London Hyde park was the last time I saw her.

This is one of the best interviews she's ever done, in my opinion! This guy was amazing, I love how genuinely interested he seemed and asked some nice questions. He didn't come across as some news/TV personality (fake), he seemed like a fan of hers. She sure goes on and on sometimes, and is super awkward breaking into song in every interview but it wasn't too bad here. She was very sweet and patient and thoughtful with her answers. Super down to earth, a treasure!

Honestly, I'm sure people over the years have told her about the singing. At this point I see it as very cool that she does it, because it feels genuine to her, and she continues to do it despite most likely having been told not to by various PR over her decades long career.

She can break out into song! Why is that a problem? No PR person should say ANTHING. NOTHING. She can do it if she feels like breaking out in song - I don't understand how it is even an issue. She can be weird or awkward or anything - I do think it's cool. And all successful people are "different".

I think plenty of other artists should take note when she says to paraphrase “you’ve got sing some of these songs every time like it’s the first time”
An authentic, genuine person. She has never forgotten where she comes from and where her roots are. Celine comes to slay and she does it every single time she takes to the stage to share her gift with us all. In the midst of what is probably one of the hardest times in Celine’s life she is so gracious ...a class act! Thank you Celine. I can’t believe she flipped him the bird...lmao.

Céline is, hands down, the nicest human EVER!!! She's such a beautiful person! And the interviewer seemed like a genuine fan and I'm soooo glad that he kept telling her how much she means to all of us! ❤️
I saw Céline in 1994 in concert and she was incredible. I’ve followed her career and she still has an incredible voice. When you think she got married, had 3 children, nursed a husband through cancer until he sadly passed and kept her career going including Caesar’s Palace night after night for years!!! Still grounded and fantastic voice a true legend.

One of the best interviews I have watched. He did a better job on asking different questions then the regular entertainment shows when they interview her.
She is one great music icon who is humble.
I am 37 and I have always loved Celine Dion's music my children are 14 8 and 6 and they love her music it's how she presents her music how she makes people feel when she sings her music it makes it's just it's a wonderful feeling and wonderful sense of being you want to sing along but the same time sometimes you don't sing it all just because you feel like you just want to hear her voice alone. She's able to project the feeling the meaning of the song at you like an actor who plays their part to where you believe that that actor is really going through that you feel that way even though technically she might not be going through that she betrays it as if she was and you feel it emotionally it's amazing...!
She always gives very generously of herself in interviews, as she does in her music, which is why she’s loved.
After her husband passed, I felt like she was really struggling for a while, but now it seems she has found her footing and I'm so glad to see she's doing well. I hope she and her children rely on their faith and family and continue to find happiness for many more years.
A woman to admire. She is just a nice person, down to earth, open, honest and full of love. Really wish her the best of luck, health and happiness always.

I watched a lot of the documentarys about her and I really wonder how she and Rene managed to be so close to so many people, to be involved in so many things beside their normal show, to rise their children and at the the end are still stayed being just nice persons, friendly and caring to a team this big. It must have been exhausted, especially after Rene dies and I feel the biggest respect - it’s just wow. 🌸

I just adore Celine Dion. It's u dream to meet her at least once in my lifetime and see her perform live. She's been my favorite female entertainer since her first single "Where does my heart beat now" came out. I have every CD she ever released and love every song on every one of them. She's got the most amazing voice on earth. She and I have something in common...we both lost our husbands on January 14 from Cancer. Her music has helped me heal from his loss. Even in her greif she still helps others with their pain.

@@RetrnRetrn I would rather say that she's a gift to so many of us, and she's gifted. Talent comes and goes, but showmenship, artistry and humility, not to mention her voice and personality, are such a gift of God to this world. I've been following her since 1992.
Celine is really just so personable that she shines in all interviews, BUT wow to see the chemistry between Tom and her. Just wow! I feel like I could have watched them chat together all day. If it had gone on any longer, I feel like they would have left for lunch together, haha.

I have been her fan since 1996, when I visited Montreal for the first time.
It was only in February 2020 that I had the chance to go to one of her concerts, in Montreal.
I can really say that what she is saying in this interview is sooooooo true! She really gives herself to each song as if it was the first time she was performing it.
She is really an amazing singer!
Love this interview! Celine Dion seems like a wonderful woman. The song Courage made me cry because I felt the pain Celine feels. I needed this song personally because my Daddy is fighting the horrible battle of cancer in the lungs (for sure stage 3 and Tuesday we find out if it's stage 4). Please pray for him.

Same. Celine'd music has been such a big part of my life that I know if I met her I would absolutely lose control of my emotions. It's not that I think of her as some divine person greater than anyone or worship her, but for me she is the soundtrack of the most painful times of my life. Basically all of the years I spent sitting in a corner with my headphones on listening to her voice and trying to not break down at school as I was relentlessly bullied would come back if I ever met her. In every day life all of that is pushed at the back of my mind and I don't think of them, but her voice was the thing that carried me through those times when they were happening that I know I wouldn't be able to not cry if I ever get a chance to meet her.
Really enjoyable interview, she seems at peace with her life.

For anyone out there suffering in any way on any level. 💗Highlights of what Celine said there was :
A difficult situation that enters your life... she's said this is A part of life , this is not something that you choose, and that this is something that is apposed to you. Don't lose the essence of your life, nor the passion. In other words, keep what remains dear to you held close to your chest. Stay the course and it will work out.
She knows exactly what she's saying. I have bilateral, atypical Trigeminal Neuralgia, and it's nearly killed me several times just from the pain and electricity that's coursed through my body. The facial, neck and shoulder spasms and the extreme pain brought on by what we call the lightning bolts is terrifying! I've passed out and gone into shock to the point that it took 15 minutes for me to come out of it. They also call it the suicide disease, and unfortunately, the type I have is the hardest to treat. Fortunately, I'm using acupuncture and infrared laser therapy along with Baclofen to treat it. I'm off the opioids, and I hope that's forever! I can also sing again, but I have to be careful that I don't tense up or overstress my vocal cords. I love it so much, and Pat Metheny's music has also been a huge part of my healing. I love how Celine improvises all the time, too, and she's so versital.
I'm 30 and head over heels for Celine. Especially after my recent brink of divorce. Carried me through so much pain.
