I'm really enjoying these videos. Your videos on how money works have always been interesting, and that approach applied to history really works. This channel needs more attention.
Great video! BlueJay was the first time I learned about the confederate submarine and the ironic & tragic way it all ended. It's neat seeing the full story -- thank you!
Another great video, it's a shame how the algorithm isn't as kind to this channel as how money works. They are both so great. I have this with all notifications on, but it still buries them sometimes.
I always love seeing examples of English’s wacky pronunciation. For example “Mobile Bay” is actually pronounced “mo-bee-ul bay”, the same as “Mobile, Alabama” Loved the video!
Maybe, the United States wasn't but in Spain, Don Ectineo de Monturiol build the first ever fully functional submarine "Ictineo II" in 1867. It comprised of a double hull, chemical reacted heat for the engine, and fully recycled air. Neither the British were this advance at the time with their steam engine submarine design.
The date (29 Aug 1835) at 5:35 into the video is incorrect; according to Wikipedia, the correct date is 29 Aug 1863.
You are 100% right, the 1835 was 26 years before the Civil War even started. My mistake, thanks for pointing it out.
please make a video about counter culture or hippie moment, and the origin behind it? It would be a great topic.

So when did someone decide it was a great idea to use nuclear power as fuel for the submarine
Yay more history!
I included The Hunley in my first novel. 😃
7:00 - Which movie is it?
I feel like you left out the most interesting part of the story of submarines💀
Which is?
*spar torpedo.
Why would the Confederates put a modern American flag on a coffin?
Blah blah.content wastes my time
