The cool post processing in Capture One / Photo Shop definitely gives this composition surrealism. Can't believe I'm just now seeing this amazing video. And thank you for highlighting the amazing Lensbaby Omni tool. Once again, your achieving amazing results. Love you, Lindsay !! ✨✨
Thank you Lindsay for another great video. Keep them coming. I have played with prism and crystals, but some interesting results I found using empty perfume bottles.
OMG why would you not come up and say hi??? Definitely come by and say hello if you're at another event where I am, would love to say hi! Thanks for the kind words about the videos. :)
Previous month I managed to gather my first five figure wage ever!!! I've been working for this provider over the web for 2 yrs now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing about it is that I am not really that tech-savvy, they just required standard understanding of internet and common typing skill...Superb thing about this gig is the more free time I got for my family. I am able to commit quality time with my relatives and buddies and look after my children and also going on family vacation along with them very routinely. Don't ignore this opportunity and try to react fast. Check it out, what I do... *discuss84.com*
You are a very good teacher with a great eye for aesthetics. I just went to Adobe Max and a lot of the teachers either were not good at explaining or the image examples they used were not polished.
I have used prisme glass and a chandellier glass too to get some crazy effects. After watching your previous videos about Fractal Filters, I've ordered them and I'm still waiting for delivery. I'm so excited to work with them. Many thanks for your videos and I really appreciate sharing your ideas with us.. :)
Love your photo deconstructions Lindsay, they're so insightful. Thanks for bringing the Lensbaby Omni Filter to our attention, a very creative bit of kit. Great to meet you at the NEC earlier this year. Are you coming back to Birmingham in 2020?
Hi Lindsey, When I started taking pictures in my analogous era, I liked to play with things like that, put them in front of the lens. I had a plastic that diffracted the light ... they were funny photos ... but I haven't done it as a professional yet.
I think it's part of a portrait photographer's journey to be honest, to experiment with different mediums and play. You never know what type of creativity it will spark.
@@lindsayadlerphoto It is true! Now that I see your results I think it's fantastic ... sometimes we want to leave everything to Photoshop but you can experience it this way. Thank you!!!!
Not sure yet! Maybe for another fine art nude workshop next year! I assume you're on my email list, if you're in Cali I'll be sure to reach out if I'm going to be doing something. Also you can always keep an eye on workshops.lindsayadlerphotography.com.
I've been using the Omni filter a few months now. Love it a lot. Some videos BTS on my channel about it. I am thinking of buying the expansion crystal pack. Anyone else used it?
Not used the Lens Baby but have used a crystal door knob to shoot through and got some weird effects, would have been better if I took it off the door first but I was in a friends home studio
I believe I was around F/8 but I don't recall. This is a great question. It does effect the results, but each tool is changed differently by aperture-- usually wider open shows the effect 'better' but it depends.
Thanks for this, Lindsay! Loved it and I will be getting a few of those :). About 15 years ago I wanted to "deconstruct" flower photography and bring it closer to painting. I found a piece of glass that I used just as you described using yours before the Lensbaby tools. I found some great techniques that resulted in some of these images: www.roblindsaypictures.com/artwork, many of which I've sold copies of :).
Yes I'm sure you can, but that's not the point of the video. Many photographers (like myself) prefer to do things in camera. I'm not a photographer who likes to dabble with creative effects in PS that much. This isn't a video about doing one versus the other, there are many ways to do the same thing, this is about how to use this particular filter to achieve the effect.
Love your works and instructions. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Thanks so much!

Cool! It's going to be a good week if we're getting a photo deconstruction every day! Thanks
Yesssss! :D
You rock Lindsay!!
Thank you Lindsay for another great video. Keep them coming. I have played with prism and crystals, but some interesting results I found using empty perfume bottles.
I love those videos, keep them coming :) I so wish I had the courage to say hello at this year's photography show, but I chickened out :( lol

Thanks for the inspiration Lindsay !!!
this is the first time I hear about this product. Love the results!
Pretty neat right?
@@lindsayadlerphoto Oh, yes! and the fact that you don't have to be holding it, makes using it a lot easier!

Oh man I would love to, but no one invited me! Tell them to bring me. :p
Would love to see you back and I’m sure I speak for many on this. Come on Canon make this happen, you know it makes sense.

not worked with stretch glass but I did use your triangle mirror deal for quite a few shots

Mega Schön 👍 Danke!

haha. I can't imagine it would be easy trying to shoot with it attached to the door either, but it would probably do the trick once off! lol
Hi lindsay ! 💛 is the number of F stops effects the results? Can you tell me what was the size of the opening of the lens? Thank you 💕

Hi. What lens focal length and aperture does Lensbaby work best on?
There is no 'best' but I use this on 85mm often
❤️🌹
cant we achieve the same effect in post processing ?
