In Rwanda we have the same Rusizi river coming from lake Kivu and along the border with DRC until it reaches Bugarama and continues in your country Burundi. I was born near the border with Bukavu, we used to cross the Rusizi bridge by car or the river by boat to go shopping or worshipping at the cathedral of Bukavu. Also swimming and fishing in Rusizi was very popular for us and the water is blue on that area.
