I'd love to try out that romance in a replay, but Alistair is quite literally my type and I'm living vicariously through my Warden right now. Zevran will have to wait.

Alistair/HoF, Fenris/Hawke, and Cullen/Inquisitor are my favorite Dragon Age couples. Their personalities drew me in and made themselves right at home in my favorite romances. Knowing that they had trauma made me want to try and help them instead of making them worse. They deserve a chance to find happiness and move past their trauma.

This is one of the hardest romances to work with, in my opinion anyway. Maybe even more so than with Solas in Inquisition. Both are Grey Wardens and they could end up dying before their time at any time. That moment where Riordan tells you that you die along with the dragon is devastating. I remember watching a walkthrough and getting to that part and it almost tore me.
The wedding scene made me cry. It is very nostalgic. The music fits perfectly too and it’s just such a satisfying end. Big thanks to DanaDuchy for making the mod.

This is the main reason why I rather sacrifice myself killing the archdemon. I couldnt and, just today I finished my 5th DAO playthrough, still couldn't accept the idea of Alistair being with someone else while I'm still alive. Sure I could have been a human noble but still he would have to have mistress for heir so no. Let me die and one day Alistair will learn to love again and have good family. (Told my brother about this hours ago and he kept telling me sis it's just a game so stop having this kind of ending 😂). At least that's what I hope for my canon playthrough. In my very 1st playthrough, I romanced him and since I failed to hardened him I had the dialogue option of "I'm sorry I can't let you" before killing the archdemon and this really destroyed me. I still remember I cried for 2 hours once the credit rolled because in that ending I got the part where Alistair got drunk before disappearing lol. So yeah long story short king Alistair now you can woo any woman you like until you want to settle 🤧

My method was to play in the dead of night, volume low as I can make it while still being able to hear XD Also had a couple TV shows I did that with. I mean my family and I all share the same morals and I'm an adult so it's not so much avoiding them walking in on intimate scenes as it is watching privately so as to avoid questions and commentary. Like I'm watching my soaps, bugger off! XD
Honestly I've romanced everyone in the game at least once just to see. But Alistair is just...wow. like not only is he such a wholesome and caring character (with a good sense of humor) he just has the most soothing voice. (Steve Valentine was literally the perfect pick for Alistairs voice. )
Now thats what i call a great set of events! Great lines, good sarcasm matched with some really funny moments and a plot twist that could be the opener of a another movie.

I actually love doing that, simply because it's so ironic. Being this petite, pretty little girl and having everyone underestimate you, when you're actually this badass warrior who would be able to kill them in two seconds flat.
I knew the newer stuff before this. So it really took me a few minutes to realize who exactly some of the side characters were because they looked kinda different😅
I really hope this game becomes available on PS4 remastered or not,, I really love Alistair Edit: I bought it for Xbox 360 instead and I romancing Alistair! I recommend this game to anyone wanting some good old fashioned rpg adventures

I think it's hard but with the right choices you can still remain with Alistair and also recruit loghain forcing loghain to sleep with Morrigan

@@mrscoles100I’m not going to lie, but when I found out that there was a way to save my character and Alistair, I was happy. But, I had such a hard time wanting him to go through with it because he would technically be cheating on my character. What makes me even sadder is that they are either never going to have kids or may luck out. I don’t understand how the taint can effect that? And I fucking hated how the grey wardens don’t say anything. They give zero room for consent. Nope! Have to lie to them and hope they don’t go crazy. Insane.
i am gonna romance him but i am terrifiyed because i play this on the xbox my whole family uses in our living room and i am not super excited about my dad or someone walking in on a sex scene.

I remember my brother playing this game when it came out but not much after that. A week ago I remembered it and finally got it on the one x that I have in my room... but the one time that my mom wants to talk through my door the scene started to play and I didn’t no the dialogue was leading up to that so I had to poke my head out of my room and talk to her while glancing back at the tv and her
My method was to play in the dead of night, volume low as I can make it while still being able to hear XD Also had a couple TV shows I did that with. I mean my family and I all share the same morals and I'm an adult so it's not so much avoiding them walking in on intimate scenes as it is watching privately so as to avoid questions and commentary. Like I'm watching my soaps, bugger off! XD

Honestly I've romanced everyone in the game at least once just to see. But Alistair is just...wow. like not only is he such a wholesome and caring character (with a good sense of humor) he just has the most soothing voice. (Steve Valentine was literally the perfect pick for Alistairs voice. )

Now thats what i call a great set of events! Great lines, good sarcasm matched with some really funny moments and a plot twist that could be the opener of a another movie.
Alistair is seriously my favorite. I’ve just recently started DA2 and even though Fenris has a voice to melt butter, he is no Alistair... I sense another play through coming up. /.\

probably available from the dwarf and his son after lothering in camp
i think you have to use the console to add it to your inventory
