This 1-hour webinar by Extension Forestry Technician Kevin Rohling reviews a number of characteristics of desirable native shrubs, their site preferences, and their relative value compared to non-native species for enhancing wildlife value in the home landscape. Several species of native shrubs and small trees and their use by insects, birds, and other wildlife are discussed along with non-native invasive species to avoid or remove.
