I accidentally found your channel. I finished 3-year program from a college in Canada and am on a PGWP which is going to expire soon. The problem is I attended a technical program which requires a lot of hours of training and practical hours. Therefore, I haven't completed the hours required though I applied EE already. What should I do? Do I have to leave the country due to the matter? Is there any acception for cases like me from IRCC or any program that you know? Thank you.

Hello, thank you for your question! If you're on a visitor visa in Canada and get accepted into an eligible college or university you can apply for a study permit from inside Canada, but the process won't differ from applying from abroad + processing time might be longer.

Thank you very much for this great information shared on a PGWP, I have a question, I am currently an International student here in Canada studying an 8-month course and I have a full-time job in one of the in-demand Jobs in Ontario. According to the OINP website, one of the requirements to apply for the in-demand stream is to have at least 9 months of cumulative work experience on a job or 18 months of experience on a part-time job. now my question is whether my full-time work experience counts as a full-time student toward the 9-month requirement since I am legally allowed to work full-time.

Hello, unfortunately, the work experience gained while being a full-time student doesn't count towards work experience that you can use to apply for PR.

    Greeting, I'm Susan from CAMEROON.
Great job to you all and very helpful Information.
    Please I have a question..
If I'm currently a student in Canada and while still in school, I obtain a full time job offer due to my past work experience from my home country. CAN I APPLY FOR A WORK PERMIT even while still on student visa?

Hello Susan, on a study permit currently you should be able to work full time till April 30th and depending on your program of study you should be able to get PGWP - Post Graduate Work Permit after you graduate. But unfortunately you can't get a work permit while you're on a study permit. When do you graduate and what is your program?

    Very informative video, Thanks
My questions are: I applied for PGWP on 21-Dec-23, and I want to travel to India. Can I travel before the approval? And if yes, Can I apply for TRV from India while PGWP is processing or do I have to wait for PGWP approval or I can not apply at all? Thanks

Hello, yes, there are no restrictions to whether you can leave Canada or not while waiting for your PGWP to be approved. To return to Canada you will require a valid visitor visa, for which you can apply while outside of Canada or while inside Canada. Two things to pay attention to:
      1. It might be better to apply for Visitor Visa when you already have PGWP, because it leaves less reasons for rejection
      2. Check processing times for Visitor Visa from India and from inside Canada.

@@navawilson Hello, greetings with peace! I would like to say thank you for this wonderful video! Kudos to the whole team! In connection to @rushangbrahmbhatt883's question, is it safe to just apply outside Canada if ever? My program will end on April 2024, and plan to go back to the Philippines for vacation on May 2024 (booked my ticket ;). Questions: 1.In the event that I will not be receiving my college docs and completion before leaving Canada, I plan to apply OUTSIDE Canada (back home), so in that way I will also have my TRV together with my PGWP approval (as per research, but I stand corrected :). Is this a good idea? 2. Or I will just wait until I receive my college docs so I will be able to apply for my PGWP INSIDE Canada before leaving? (for higher chances of approval, they say) 3. I will apply for PGWP stating "inside Canada" even if I'm in my country for higher chances? ( I know it's risky :( )) Please help me answer these doubts and I hope to hear from your end about my concerns. You're very much appreciated. Thank you and More Power!
