Hi Rob, i am 70 years young and grew up with the Beatles, Stones and later Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Now i am in prog metal. But from my childhood i have also loved classical music. My favorites are Bach, Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi and Locatelli. Remember, all the music nowadays and in the past, originates from classical music!

The prelude to the partita #3 in E, is maybe my all-time favorite piece for solo violin.
Partita in E by Bach is what I heard from teachers when I just wasn't in the mood or too tired.

Honestly I didn't like the switch over to the electric violin, it sounded awful in this video for some reason but I think part of the problem is I don't know any of these songs so I have no idea what they're supposed to sound like but it seemed like there were a lot of sounds (feedback?) that weren't supposed to be there and it wasn't enjoyable to listen to those parts. I think this would have been much better without the electric violin.
