Local metal forging, prevailed in the period of Ling Gesar, enjoys a history of more than 1,300 years. The Jinsha River has witnessed the history of this craftsmanship. Tibetan knives, used to be weapons on the battlefield, have now become necessary tools of every Tibetan family. They can be gifts, decorations, and family symbols that can be passed down from generation to generation.
