I don't exactly have the same opinion (Trilogy, Odyssey, the first are as good and more perhaps iconic than this one) , but i 100% agree with you about the fact this album is one of his best. It is a bit too long and some song are not so good or even terrible (Teaser....) but most of the songs are truly great and Yngwie plays some of his best soli and also some of his best instrumentals are to be found on this platter. I never understood the bad reviews about the quality of Fire and Ice and also the bad reviews about the singer. It's top notch most of the time and the sound engineer did justice to the music !
