Turning on the f22. Push start. F14. Let me go get the book, for each seat.
Cause its a well made but a low fidelity mod, thats why 👍🏻 its based on the f15c flightmodel
That's what I noticed with this game. With the F-22, you need to press 5 buttons and it starts, but with F-18, F-15, and F-14, you need to press 20 buttons for each engine.

I was a crew chief on raptors for 4 years at Langley. It is pretty much that simple. Not that it matters, really, but engine 1 is the left engine, so start that first.

I’m guessing that you’re joking, but the DCS mod for the F-22 “START” function is just for fun and nothing like reality. For on thing F-22’s always start the left (or number one) engine first. For another the F-22 appears to use some kind of pyrotechnic to spin up the #1 engine through a fly wheel. If you watch one start you’ll see a small diamond shaped air intake flap pop open on the top of the left wing, then you’ll hear the sound of the pyrotechnic start to blast air through a kind of internal pin wheel to spin up the fly wheel that spins up the #1 engine. Then once the #1 engine has settled into running it’s used start the #2 engine.

F-35 in real life is roughly 4 buttons to start-up.
Wouldn’t be surprised if the F-22 is built the same way.

After spending quite a few hours so far learning how to start the F-16 and F-18. The F-22 module is like stealth jets for dummies lol. Might as well have a big "on" button compared the others lol.

F16 is start is pretty easy in my opinion i figures it out in like 20 mins

its nowhere near realistic these features probably arent even a thing that hud is ripped out of an f-15 just about everything to do with the f-22's cockpit is classified that's why we probably will never have a realistic version or know how it works til around 2050 if they even ever feel like telling us but things like the f-16 and f-14 in the game are pretty much real world replicas other than a few of the other systems being classified still

First day playing the game, I gotta say the F22A is a dream to fly in game. I know it's based on the F15C in game, but it makes me feel good knowing I'm flying an F22A instead

I started the game today. Starting the engine of the p51 takes an eternity 😂
I've had the game for two years, besides it hardly running on my PC, I'm still spending that eternity to start it
Practice makes perfect. When you get it down, it’ll only take a minute or two

The f22 is probably the most easiest plane to startup (this was easier than blinking)💀
It´s also the easiest plane to fly dude.. these electronic systems also known as fly-by-wire will basicly do whatever you ask for.. just hit the gas switches and play with that joystick however you want :D
It’s easy because they really don’t know how it works since it’s classified as more and more gets declassified it will get harder
@@kiri2863 The thrust vectoring is just crazy. If you start going stall speed close to the ground you just override the g force limiter or whatever that thing is to maneuver better by activating thrust vectoring. That shit is so OP that you can go from stalling towards the ground to gaining altitude in a split second. It’s definitely one of my favorite planes, I mainly just use the f-18 since there aren’t any servers that have the f-22 added :/

It’s probably accurate, the cockpit of an aircraft isn’t normally kept classified. And besides, it’s so simple we couldn’t copy the plane.
@@Pyreax865 I doubt it's accurate, the manual is still classified. The start sequence had to have been narrowed down through cockpit helmet cam videos of the F35 and in most of those you can't really see all the buttons they press during start ups.

Just a quick reminder to the people who dont know: The Raptor is not officialy in the game. This is a mod. you can download it for free but you need the Flamming Cliffs 3 Pack or just the F15C (F15C costs about 15€). The mod is based on the flight model of the F15 C😊

Some of them are not intractable with the mouse. Mainly the MFD’s and some of the startup buttons.
@@pyroman7550 Yeah but I couldn't manage to make the F-22 be "pilotable" by me (the player).
For some weird reason, only the A.I. can pilot it.
And yes I have the Flamming Cliffs whatever DLC.
@@manuel.camelo if you are using the map editor then you have to go to the right side, (with the f22 you wish to fly selected) and on the skill area you can click a drop down menu and set it to player or client.

When the game starts I'm a "spectator".
I don't have an aircraft to pilot.
I don't know why that's happening, but I'll try to figure out how to fix it 🙏

@@manuel.camelo So, usually there are two different types of the same aircraft, for example, SU-25, and the SU-25T. the difference is one is forcibly ai controlled, you CONNOT fly the variant of that aircraft, in this example its the su-25 that is ai, so you need to put down two of the different type of f22 to check, I'm not sure witch variant is the right one. Long message, but don't hesitate to ask.

It's this easy because it's a mod based on the FC3 module, so low fidelity planes.

the cockpit of an f22 is definitely classified. You can only take a picture of the forward screens while they are turned off in f35 f22 and b21. No downward or rear facing pictures allowed. Especially never with the screens turned on. So yes this is fictional the real thing is probably 20 steps

I can’t start it. But every time I try to taxi I start spinning. I have to push throttle to afterburner to not spin, and take off on grass.

Dcs is free, but you will need to pay for planes, and you kinda need at least a HOTAS and IR track/Opentrack with TrackAi and a web cam

Most jets in this game are pretty accurate
Things like startup and OS aren’t t classified. Things like weapon systems, radar absorbent paint coat, flight limitations and internals are classified
