I have a broken PSU, I checked the mentioned resistor and it's in open circuit measuring 3.6M ohms! I can't believe I missed that one! Thanks for the video anyway! Very instructive!!
I only found one schematic of the PSU. There it says 16V - 18V. www.badcaps.net/forum/troubleshooting-hardware-devices-and-electronics-theory/troubleshooting-power-supplies-and-power-supply-design/69840-nintendo-64-psu-secondary-side-dead
@@TheKonsolistI tested it, my prongs are not as thin as yours but I wasn’t able to get a high reading like at all I’m pretty sure I was touching the metal parts and never came up or close to 240

@@TheKonsolist thanks if you have power supply working test the voltage of that ziner and tell me please
@@ilyaganon3934 the voltage is exactly 1.71V
@@TheKonsolist thank you so much
@ilyaganon3934 you're welcome!
How did you remove the glue? Do you have a discord and would be willing to help me fix it? I want to learn but I feel a bit in over my head
Hi. I used tweezers to remove the glue. I don't have discord, but of course I'm willing to help you, if I can.

If it showed 0 it is broken
