Defensive lines are not about names. They’re about rotation and the ability to go deep into the 4th. The lions have continually chased names through the year. Now they finally got good depth and a quality rotation. They will have a nasty DL this year. A lot of pieces that can get home. I particularly hope we see more Hutchinson on the inside. He could be a monster there.
Chased names through the years lie who? If that was the case we would have took a flyer on a buncha names that were available over the years... I never seen von Miller being chased by us when he was available or jadaveon clowney when he was available...wat about montes sweat or taco Charlton when they were available...I've been a Lions fan since 90-91and all my life I've waited fr the fords to open the checkbook and chase big names...never seen it in Detroit...and try telling the buccaneers team that won the super bowl with big names on the dline like SAPP or the ravens super bowl without those DTs and ends thy had to compliment those linebackers and secondary...true names don't matter sometimes , but if you want to reach places you've never been a a franchise sometimes you need to do different like chase a big name ... The rams got von Miller halfway through the season and he was huge in their super bowl run veteran and presence wise. Not to mention his play.

Dan wasn't worried. Reader had the same injury in the past so he's shown he can come back from it. He also is active in the film room he's studied all McNeils snaps

Mac was Elite day 1 and the best Dlineman on the TEAM. They are not signing him now because if he has the season we expect they have to rip up the lower contract they will offer now
