In Fable you would actually gain weight from eating food. In fact, I think one of the side-quests required you to be significantly overweight.

It's actually a pretty cool game overall. If you're into the Chinese martial arts aesthetic it's awesome. Could easily play it dozens of hours without paying a cent into the live service.

And that is only on Steam, since 2020 (with a break of a bit more than a year). I was playing Terraria when Old Gen Console was the current version.
It's an exception though, nothing else comes close. 2nd place goes to Hitman WoA with almost 1k hours (in about 3 years).
Notice: the stuff below is less relevant and you may choose to ignore it.
Terraria and Pokemon are childhood games I still play to this day, however I haven't (nor wanted to really) played Pokemon past Gen 7. Gen 4 and 5 are my favourites, Gen 8 onwards just look, and this isn't a negative thing, too different to the pixelated nature of the earlier games that were a part of my childhood. When Gen 8 came out I had outgrown the interest in new Pokemon games, deemed the visuals to be too "advanced" and thus didn't feel it was worth buying a Switch just to play it. As for Gen 7 I already had a Nintendo 2DS from three years prior when X and Y came out.

The fact they actually included the frog style from Kung Fu Hustle is wild. I couldn’t stop laughing for like 10 minutes when I saw that.
The game is filled with tonnes of Kung Fu Hustle references! Frog style, Lion's Roar, Buddha Palm, even the Kung Fu Hustle running can be bought for cheat instead of using a horse for a mount!
Fun fact, the Toad Style isn’t actually specifically from Kungfu Hustle. It’s an ancient Chinese WuXia folklore kungfu art style often practiced by evil cultists. Same as the HeDong Lion’s Roar, and Buddha’s Palm, they all existed in WuXua folklore decades before Kungfu Hustle was made.

Except the monetization is tied almost exclusively to cosmetics. Sure, the premium battle pass unlocks more progression materials per level. But echo pearls (the cosmetic currency, and what you actually pay for in-game besides the battle pass or monthly pass) can't be converted to progression currencies. The progression currencies are acquired WAY faster through play than purchase in the battle pass, and all the progression materials can be farmed on the map
