*sigh* I really hope this does get turned into a series at some point. It has a lot of potential to be long running series if it's done right and they'll be able to really dive deep into this world and its characters.

@Bill Gates yeah..if Disney did it it would be horrible. There's death, and a lot of violence sometimes and a ton of all the books is just fighting, and with the kronos stuff, how would that even work? I don't know if they even could turn this that family friendly.

You know what, considering everything, Poseidon isn’t such a bad father. I mean, even despite Zeus making that law Poseidon still watched over Percy, and helped him as much as he can and genuinely loved him. He seems like a God who doesn’t have that big of an head like the other Gods too *cough* Zeus *cough*
Gumiho Mochi lol I agree. He clearly cares for Percy, and Sally as well. I’ll never get over the scene in the books where he meets Paul for the first time. 🤣

Omy Stark not to be a negative nelly, but everyone’s been saying that there’s gonna be a tv show coming out “soon” for YEARS now. i’ll be honest, i wouldn’t get my hopes up too high, if there hasn’t been a show made yet i don’t have a lot of confidence that there’s gonna be one made at all.

Allison Taylor I think it’s the fact that the movies had lower budgets so they Just couldn’t put a lot of stuff in although movie 2 had more wiggle room and the first movie didn’t have as much wiggle room and a lot scenes that wouldn’t transfer well onto the big screen. Also if people would quit hating on the first two movies so much and have the movies more credit and attention especially money the third movie probably would have had enough money to do more book scenes then the first 2 they could have slowly been working their way up since movie 2 had a tiny bit more book scenes than movie 1. Since either way matter how makes the movies or the adaptions it was probably never gonna be like the books all that much since the books are all mythology and history based more than they are adventure and the movies were probably going for more adventure and less history since I read somewhere that the first two movies didn’t want to overwhelm fans with too mythology&history lessons in the movies.
Alba Chaves number 1 is why the movies dialed back on mythology&history lessons though they didnt want to overwhelm fans other wise it would be like watching the history channel rather than a movie.

This is phenomenal these books where such a help to me growing up and this just reminded me of that, it’s the perfect song for Percy, I will still rise.

I've never seen any of the Percy Jackson movies, and have only recently discovered the book series (I first read the Kane Chronicles when I was 12-13, and I'm currently on Book Four of Percy), but I can feel the sheer confidence and power coming off this video. Amazing work! Here's hoping Uncle Rick's adaptation talks with Disney prove successful! :)

Oh man, talk about a blast from the past.
I remember seeing the ad for the Percy Jackson series in my school’s Scholastic Book Fair. A friend and I ordered all five of them and started reading immediately. She stopped reading after The Sea of Monsters because Harry Potter was more her style (go figure) but I was hooked from page 1 and the rest is history.
Fast forward to the release year of the first movie and I was so excited, only to be highly disappointed.
But somehow, this video you made almost makes those movies bearable. I like the song choice and how the clips sync up with the lyrics. An awesome job on your part.
9/10 tho cuz you didn’t put “don’t walk on my roof”

hopefully it will be a long running one so Heroes of Olympus can be included too. And maybe trials of apollo? Does ToA have some of the same characters? Idk, i haven't read those books yet.
@@masonteierle9570 it has the same characters but as side characters. Like in the first book there is Percy, Will and Nico but they are not showing up. In second one you see other people from the past and it continues like that.

Ah! I hope it happens! I haven't read much of Rick's work because tbh when I moved school's I was very dissapointed at the library. The fiction is practically empty. I have on read book one of ToA! Anyways ranting over.
