Would I get a similar result if I used acrylic paint instead of dye with the edge kote? I'm about to start my first restoration project on a burberry bag and wallet. They have a grey and cream leather and I can't seem to find dye that colour.

Wow, what are the products you used? Especially the leather cement. I can’t find it in my country.
Hi Katherine thank you for watching! I used the following for this project: Fiebing's black leather dye, Resolene (sealer) and the leather cement would be Fiebing's leather cement. I hope this would help you.

Hi thank you for checking it out, I did clean it with wipes and applied a lesther conditioner before I dyed it. Hope this is helpful to you.

If you would like to match the pink color of your Chanel wallet then your best bet would be to use a leather paint, Angelus has variety of colors you can choose and blend to match the color that you want. You can get them from Amazon or Etsy too. I hope this will help you.
