I’m working in retail security and it really depends how you look at it. Physically, it’s better than mazduri but when you think about dealing with jerks, it’s not easy. I’ve seen and even participated in actual fist fights doing retail. So it’s all about the perspective you look at it with.

Plus, available jobs are on an all time low, not just security ones because of inflation and high cost of living. Data is available on the government’s website. So, the problem is not in the students but on the economy.
