Totally agree. One thing I did understand, I think, was about our fans leaving at 4 nil up. It's something I've never understood but it is definitely common in England.

It is true what you say about fan culture in England for home games. I think we (West Ham) are one of the worst offenders for leaving early in games as well. The travel home is a long, tedious one out of the stadium, but we have a lot of tourist fans since the switch to the new stadium unfortunately, and they are the majority of the people that leave early, and it has gotten worse over the years. Our away support is one of the best though, although I am biased haha Good luck to Freiburg for the rest of the season.

Your fans carried themselves impeccably and stayed until the bitter end to acknowledge and applaud your players you lived up to your motto of 'More Than Football' 👏👏👏. Yes atmosphere is bad in England. West Ham old stadium was very good. But the club moved here got rid of old fans. (Ultras ). Why did you say inshallah. Are you Muslim ? I didn’t think u was
You were totally outclassed in that game. You’d struggle to finish in the top half of our championship league. Great support though. The occasion and supporting your club obviously means more than the result for German fans.

Understand enough german to hear your complaints about the stadium and fan culture, and the English definitely complain as much as you do. The london stadium is horribly oversized for football atmosphere and its so hard to generate chants that even reach the other side of the ground. Outside the attendance count, it provides little else.
