Ahhhhhh our epic adventure keeps getting better and better doesn’t it 💚💚💚💚 To go for a swim in Eyre Creek is something we will all remember for a longgggg time to come…. The green throughout that region of the desert too. Mother Nature sure delivered for us 💚💚🤠🤠
Exactly how was the aftermarket shock on the Navara "set up wrong from the start, causing the shock to pull itself apart"? Can't be too many ways of getting it wrong installing a shock into an IFS front. Interested to know what the brand of shock is. And whether you had any further issues with the factory OEM shock for the rest of the trip.
Reason they gave was it was oversprung and wound out to far causing it to always top out and put pressure on the eyelet. You would think there would be tolerances built into the adjustment so this couldn’t happen but it is what it is. Was outback armour shock mate
Thanks for the info. That will help a lot with my fuel calculations and how much to bring. Epic trip and great video, keep up the fantastic channel! You guys rock!!
@@tempestv8 yeah gives you a bit of a guide definitely carry that bit of contingency though hey. Thanks for watching along the episodes and appreciate you taking the time to write comments as well mate
Thanks mate We sure do it’s just the juggle with work to get the time to do it. Cape next year then would love to do the Kimberley that’s probably priority over the CSR at this point We need to win lotto 😂
@@4x4brothers HAHA you and I both !! Go to bed dreaming every night !! I hope to get my 62 ready and up the cape next season too, might see you boys around hopefully 👍

Can't wait to do this trip in July, I'm hoping it's still wet 😂
You’re going to love it mate. You won’t want it to wet though that mud is a pain to clean off 😂

What month did you do the simo crossing
Went in mid July mate
What was the fuel consumption average for the mighty Y62?
We were 22 for myself, 23 for the chopped and 24 litres per 100 for the white one crossing mate
