- sunroof making clicking noises? not opening or closing here's a how to fix that replace the motor assembly

yes its very nice no rust no accident damage, I cant find a door ding wish i could keep this one.. the sunroof was the last thing to make it perfect.
Both my neons have bad sunroofs. One had a bad gear, other one stopped working, great video.!
that sucks, mine work ill open them on days I know im going on a long drive as i know that they are nothing but problems

Can you do one with sunroof replacement or sunroof track fix
ill put this on my list to make, ive done them over the years just never made a video its time consuming but not to bad over all

I've got a full working sunroof assembly I got from a 30k mile, 1 owner srt4 that I have sitting just waiting to be installed.
I’m having issues with mine same year and mine sunroof is stuck open I have power to the switch fuse is good as well just want close. When I hit the switch I hear like a click noise like a turn signal so with that said there is 2 yellow wires with red stripe and one black which is ground power wire I get 12v but the middle one is on reading 3v. I also have the green light on the switch it is on. Do you think this could be the motor or another issue?
it could be the motor, or the cable in the assembly its common for the roll pin in the assembly to come out or damage to the tracks or some thing is in there jamming it up the sunroof assembly's are prone to failure
@@Mattsneedforspeed yeah definitely not pins I did have issue and was able to fix that couple of years ago. Update on sunroof after several hours of playing around with connections the motor itself and the control module I was finally able to get it to close. Now that it is closed I just unplugged it above the headliner and left it because simply pulling the fuse for the sunroof also kills the radio. Also all I can find is used motors for like $100 so not something I really need to fix just happy that she closed.
@@antoniomarc7174 I did offer good used for 70 out at the moment no new ones are available there was a guy making the gears I can’t remember who as it’s been a while on a Facebook pages i don’t remember cost but the sunroof’s are a pain older now and just fail
