    I just got my lithium battery for my livescope and got to test it once.. everything about it so much better. I’m just using it for the ffs, ended up grabbing a 20ah hope to always have enough battery

    I have a 16' tiller vhull boat, I switched from lead acid (1- 24, 2- 27s) to a 50 and 2 100s, i dropped 91 lbs out of the boat, it's more stable, it handles better, is faster, and the added run time and fast charging is awesome.

    I don't tourney fish but go out 6-8 hours. I got two 50ah Ionic deep cycle for 24v trolling motor @14# each. Wet deep cycles were about 60# each. One 50ah Ionic for two bow graphs and Livescope. Just got the Ionic Red starting lithium which starts my 75hp Merc no prob and runs my console graph 9#. So I saved over 100# on my little boat ant it runs all day. It jumps out of the hole now and runs better. And as Matt mentioned. They sit at 13v+ so they turn the motor over faster.

    Hey buddy. I've been with you a long time. I was just recalling the 50 state tour with James. That was reely cool. Man what a blast that adventure was. Have you heard from James?

    Great video. I'm going to switch over next time I need batteries. I run a lithium on my electronics and it's bad ass. You left out the expense of changing out your on board charger

    Sb well it’s funny you dropped this video and B-lat says different in his new video. He’s saying the same thing but have a better understanding in the batteries. Not saying you don’t but I’ll rather listen to him with more time on the waters and had many boats and batteries. But thanks for info 💯🙏🏿❤️

      You just made me go watch it. He literally said “after using lithiums for the last 4 years they are definitely worth it”. Then goes on to say “They’ll BOTH give you trouble though”. He also said he was running lead acid batteries this year to try and compare the two.
      So you watched it…but did you actually listen to it? 😅

      And to be honest, I bet in the last 4 years I’ve spent more time on the water than BLat and maybe even X2. That’s not a brag I know he’s got more experience than me in the long run for sure, and I have a ton of respect for the man. Not at all trying to slight him but he’s got a family, and a lot more to take care of than me. I’m fishing every chance I get.

      @@SBFishing yes he said both will eventually give you trouble. So to me I’m thinking Lithium is great because of the time and era we in. And I wasn’t knocking lithium I was just saying it’s best to try to get what you can afford. Wonder if you went with this battery is they didn’t work with you?🤔

      @@SBFishing and I bet in the last 4 years you fished more than him. That’s great hope it’s paying off for you as well. I’m pretty sure he fished a lot more than we think he is. And he gives great advice in all his content. Can’t go wrong with Blat 💯🙏🏿

    One other question is I have several kinds of soft swimbaits also I have Shad type paddle tails and bluegill type in wedge tails also I have Nessie cull Shad’s and the unloaded Bass Mafia on a 7/0 beast hook but can you throw those in summer months as well as colder months like using those bass mafia on the 7/0 to throw around lay downs ?

    The ionic lithiums ive had for almost 3 years already paid for themselves. Glad i went that route even for the engine. Charge them up and they last close to 3 or 4 fishing days for me. And having a smaller 16 ft boat weight saving is a big deal

      Glad to hear it. That’s what was getting at in the video. I’m not a huge fan of the term “game changer” because it’s slung around for almost everything that’s new…but lithiums in a small boat are a legit game changer.

    Do u have a 2 stroke or 4 stroke motor and what does that do to any warranty with merc hooking them up to a lithium? Also, what are your thoughts on the on/off switch of the batteries? Seems like a perco would do the same thing and eliminate one less thing that could go bad.

    Hey man I have a question I hope you can help me with about glide baits, I have a small lake I fish a bunch and I’ve caught three 5 lb bass in like the last 3 years and I’ve been Glidebait fishing it for the last 2 years and I’ve gotten a couple nibbles but no takers so I’m not sure if there are bass big enough to eat a glide I catch 2 1/2 and 3 lb bass a ton but should I go somewhere else or should I keep trying?

    • @SBFishing
      @SBFishing  4 месяца назад

      Definitely keep throwing it. I have plenty of days I don't catch any fish on the glide but always have one on deck. What size glide are you throwing? What kind of glide? Bluegill/shad profile? Are you getting alot of fish that just follow it?

    • @Glock-1
      @Glock-1 4 месяца назад

      I have several but I throw a 7inch custom resin shad profile in white and a Gan Craft 178 in bluegill color and I do get some followers but not a ton and I have sped it up slowed it down and everything in between. Also you should check out Zorba Baits Shad Daddy I have one of those in crappie color and they are super nice resin glides and they are $50

    • @SBFishing
      @SBFishing  4 месяца назад

      Sounds like you have got solid baits, should be fine there. Might be more condition based. Also, I always find that it’s easier to catch glide fish when you have it near cover and the fish have a “pin point” to eat your bait. Try it around docks, laydowns brushpiles etc. I feel like you have been doing the right things as far as fishing the bait with different retrieves, you just haven’t hit that day on the head where the fish are really eating it.

    • @Glock-1
      @Glock-1 4 месяца назад

      Sounds good I’ll definitely keep fishing it, it has to happen sooner or later!

    • @Glock-1
      @Glock-1 4 месяца назад

      Also I have 3 of the Gan Craft 178 in the floating and I add the suspend strips on them to get them to suspend in the water column wherever I need to and they run great, I also have 2 Spro Chad Shad’s one in bone one in Threadfin, 2 Storm Arashi Glides a bluegill and a oikawa mesu, 2 custom resin glides and a couple Shine Glide 185’s
