One of my very favorites.
Love it! Santana + T-Rex + post punk!
and Tito Puente, who is the original composer
@@Oscar3 - Freakiest thing: I used to be very good friends (he was so kind- as was his dad- helped me big time when I had a kitten dying & panicked, bless!) w/ Tito’s son “Rico” aka “Ritchie” & had played early Bauhaus for him! Might even have had him come when I booked Bauhaus’ 1st NY gig as we did that, taking each other to what we were into as well as his dads gigs (anything w/ a tribal or Latin beat gives me happy feet😂)… such fond memories! Thanks!
Actually is kind of interesting what he has done here. It sounds good. He explored different kind of rythms and instrumentation, without leaving his beloved guitar aside, and it worked!
_Yeah, kind of like Robert Smith. I had this on Vinyl way back in the day, it sounded even better, trust me._
Lunr1982 Kind of like Robert Smith? Really? That sounds stupid. I'm a very big fan of both and I don't see any of that. Definitely Ash had his own style and even though I love Rob Smith, Daniel Ash is way superior as a guitarist, and as a musician he was more experimental, versatile and less predictable.
@@michellepadilla7774 damn savage
The rhythm reminds me a lot of Santana, what an interesting song
oye como va... mi ritmo!
As an "always fan" of Bauhaus and Love and Rockets, it's sometimes worth remembering the solo careers of all the principals - Peter Murphy, David J, and Daniel Ash. Needless to say, Ash was the sexiest of those three, the punk goth equivalent of fine china, more pointy and fey than any of the elves featured in Lord of the Rings! This is one of Daniel Ash's best solo cuts. Ash deserved to at least have a few radio solo hits on his own.
Don't forget Kevin Haskins solo work, mostly on movie soundtracks!
I’d have to disagree with you that Dan was the most attractive out of them and I’d have to choose Peter,of course.
Hes soo beautiful
I'll dance for him like that haha
Grrrrr!!! I want him
ash is a genius great sound and video
Really cool sound and look!
Brilliant album and song!
The summer of 1990 I think it was? Enjoyed this album in a private way. The world had changed to grunge and hip hop but this was far better.
Haha! I completely understand your "in a private way" comment! I was studying in the UK in the 90's and I remember the zeitgeist...
My name is Daniel ash too!
Now the two of you must fight to the death
shower time mr ash
Ash looks fierce in this clip, like one of the member's of Gene Loves Jezebel
Viva Daniel Ash🎙😎

Emiliano Ortega-Guerrero AWESOME
I was actually thinking this would be some kind of goth remake of the Aerosmith song. Now that would be interesting.

Daniel as Helena Bonham Carter=Beautiful!
Lol, are you saying he looks like her? He looks a bit like Brian Molko too

So why aren't they married and have five beautiful kids already? Belly-dancing guitar gods :D

Always more interesting than Bauhaus. I loved Bauhaus as a youth but as I got older realised Pete Murphy was a cock. Tones on Tail were amazing.
This is great, like all the solo - Projects from Daniel, He is one of best and most underated guitarists of all time !! ..But. sorry,...Bauhaus was the best !!
shower time mr ash
People trashing this? "Oh, it's not "goth".....never mind. Squeegee your 3rd eye.
Is that Natacha Atlas on vocals with Daniel ?!

I love that Daniel stole the title from Aerosmith and the rhythm from Oye Como Va! Fu*k copyrights!
Latin America with belly dancing wtf ???? I don't think so.
You have no imagination.
Just say yes to Natacha Atlas.
Plus goth, i think its interesting
At least it is a blend done the old-fashioned way. Not like today where they would sample everything together.
Cop out Daniel - Bella Lugosi will be so disappointed - Dan goes X-Factor - yukkk
john walton Bela*
I don’t know. It’s a pretty tasty song and performance.

They surelly could make more video shots, not to repeat parts again and again... Reminds me visualy of Bono from U2, but not that charismatic...
