I tried Hogfish taco’s in the Keys years ago and it was absolutely, hands down, the best taco that I have ever had…..and I live on Texas/Mexico border.

Tarter Sauce? NOOOOOOOOO! Thats like putting ketchup on a perfect steak filet> :( Please never do that to a great piece of Hog Fish. pinch of salt & pepper and some fresh lemon is all that fish needs!

They made all of these restrictions for a reason. Maybe target a different fish, you know, one that isn't overfished?

Nah I think I’ll keep shooting hogfish thanks for the suggestion though.

So, by your logic, any fish that has any restriction on it should never be taken? lol..No

@@chris_bjj123 Exactly! Because clearly, overfishing is just a myth, right? Let's just fish everything until there's nothing left. Problem solved!

@@vinman2001 If there's any overfishing, it's not by rec guys. The GOM and Atlantic fisheries are very healthy. The "endangered" ARS has come back in numbers that make it impossible to avoid them. Goliaths are everywhere. As stated in the video, hogfish numbers are up. I could go on but I'm clearly talking to somebody with zero day to day experience in these waters...just somebody talking from an emotional view point.

@@vinman2001 overfishing isn’t a myth. That’s why there are regulations in place to prevent it. If you follow the regulations, the fisheries stay healthy 😂. I’m keeping my one 16” fish a day. If you want to leave yours in the water, that’s your choice. Don’t go forcing your ideals on me or other people lol.
