Satan gives sleep to distract you from learning the deceptions..you can stay awake through an entire movie ,but not a sermon...it's very normal and one of Satan's tactics....but please try to fight the sleepiness and listen...may God bless you

It doesn‘t help people if you point out their darkness. You have to bring light in order to make darkness flee. You have to bring the truth to erase the lie. A very good word, brother Josh. I used to be exposed to Derek Prince's ministry of deliverance through a young believer (then in his twenties in the eighties) who was the only survivor of a teenage car wreck that killed his four friends. Kelly struggled with God and finally lived victoriously when I knew him, and listening to Derek Prince's tapes was a source of learning for Kelly. Bless his heart, he wanted me to engage in a deliverance ministry, but like a darkened forest filled with wild creatures makes the unarmed and unprepared visitor to it wary I was not willing to take that ministry on then. I have today been given another opportunity to confess and renounce satanic forces in my own life (I am now 69) and if God wants I will step up and exercise my newly-discovered Christ-given authority (which every believer who has the Holy Spirit has access to I found ) to unshackle those who satan has bound. Praying for you; please pray for me.. and our nation and President Donald Trump. God bless you.

When I was newly Spirit Filled, I worked in a Christian radio station as a DJ for a long time. One of the teachers I played daily was Derek Prince. I learned SO much from him, and continue to listen to his tapes and read his books. He was (and still is) powerfully used by God. Thank you for this!

@@donnaleveron5711 I was meaning Derek .Look more carefully ,casting out evil Spirits was a gift to the Apostles ,it was not on the list of gifts to the church. We are told not to communicate with evil Spirits . There is no problem in most evangelical churches with demons . Derek seems to attract them as he talks to them . Someone I knew came across it in Africa among the pagans, but they just prayed for the person and she was released.

He was one of the first teachers I had in Toronto, back in the early 70's...discovered that our drains would not work the day that my son came into our home to live...he had brought his Mormon books...today, 6 weeks later, I revoked the power of satan and entered the presence of the Lord humbly...and the drains emptied! I got rid of the books...please pray for my son (age 23) to be released from dark influences. Thank you again. (The Lord destroys the house of the proud...)

The false teachers have much larger amounts of people following & listening to them than the false prophets do. It’s why he was addressing false teachers. 2 Timothy 2:1-3 was talking about there will be false teachers among us just as there was false prophets among the people in their day.

Just wondering, have you also left the church building. I have, I would rather watch the old preachers than listening to the greedy, money hungry preachers of today (even in the conservative churches (i.e. NG) they seem even worse, but then again that church has been dead a long long time.

I've been aware of Derek Prince for a long time. Often, Pentecostals/charismatics have a tendency to go far afield when it comes to the gifts, the supernatural, healings, etc. Prince is well balanced and teaches on much more than just these topics. He's well versed in the scriptures and a great expounder of the Truth.

Don't be afraid... Our FATHER is so good and so kind that he will over look a multitude of deceptions. He is not trying to send people to hell but to save them. Wonderful that a young guy recognized the truth of a senior.
I’m listening to this sermon fresh off of the departure from a Methodist church where the pastor literally preached about “Love” often but when you looked at his actions he lacked every sense of the word. For he was divorced with a wife who left him and the church! He also had a terrible spirit energy of perversion and sexual lust. And would give protections to other perverse men who would come into the church behaving inappropriately around the women and children. Of course, I realize that I was attracted to the church initially because of the “familiar” and seductive spirits that presented there at the church. But soon I raised my voice and saw how the spirits came out like a gang to protect each other. Anyways, I’ve departed from that non-fruit baring church which is still pouring out libations and worshiping ancestors, charming and consulting with familiar spirits.
Praise the Lord, you escaped from the snares of the fowler.
Thank God your Christ conscience was very strong in the Holy Spirit...

I experienced this recently myself. It was unbelievable at first, they all seemed to be sheep together and I did not belong! But I kept asking the Holy Spirit to help me, then they all starting covering each other's sins and propping each other up in sin...I ran and am not looking back. It was a very valuable lesson to me. I praise God that He made a way of escape for me. So glad you got free. We are supposed to live free indeed!

Now I’m convinced Ron Wyatt found the real ark of Moses, and Jesus blood just outside Jerusalem on January 6th 1982. It’s not necessary to be saved, but it is information God wanted me to have to prepare me for the Great Falling Away, and the Deception the AntiChrist will bring.

He may not have covered paganism in the church, but he is not a false teacher. This is solid info.
bethelshiloh that's why it is important to read the Bible carefully for yourself, and humble yourself knowing that you can never fully understand the Bible on your own knowledge, ask for the holy spirit to get all truth, pray, pray, from the heart, mind.

Sinai: Sorry, I’ve watched and listened to a great deal of Derek's work, and I don’t remember which is where, I don’t usually make a mental note of the titles, especially when I’ve gone through a lot of them. He wove a lot of side themes into much of his work; sometimes a particular topic was off the main topic, so he’d just touch on this or that in passing. Maybe as it would pertain to a clarification, other things he’d go more in-depth into any particular thing that may have a side context to the main points he was making. That’s why to really absorb his messages (or anyone’s who has a depth of knowledge) the more the better, so see his context, because he, like myself, could end up writing a novel just to cover all the clarification points on any one topic, and each of those points in turn can have spinoffs of clarifications, and on it goes when you have any in-depth topic. One can’t really combine a lifetime of knowledge into 1,2,3 or even 8 hours of explaining, if there is depth to it.
I know it’s an issue for me when people want “proof” of any given thing. Well, if I spent time explaining my entire life and why I know the things I know, to every single person that asks, I’d spend the rest of my life just doing that. Between personal experience that most people still want to deny as existing at all, and deep research, reading documents rather than just looking at fact-check sites and wikis and stupid disinfo, that’s where most people go and then they want to argue when they really are clueless and easily misled by Tavistock-and Cointelpro counter and disinfo tactics, I leave them to wake up on their own when they’re ready. When they really want to know; they won’t let liars stop them from finding out. They’ll ask themselves the questions and find the answers, they’ll connect who is lying and why, and who covers for whom, then they’ll be able to discern more quickly when someone is lying. They’ll already hear the typical phrasing and the sources they quote, and know a liar right off the bat. Sometimes people just haven’t caught on, so they repeat lies they don’t know are lies, but the ones who do it on purpose...sometimes they’re very obvious. One lady started her Luciferian nonsense, pretending to be one of the “good guys”, but in less than 60 seconds, about 45 seconds, I knew she was Luciferian and who her affiliations were, over and above all the ones used in introducing her, the ones that are supposed impress people...I could tell right away the secret ones because of her speech, her phrases and who she used as a “reliable” source. I stopped the vid right away, and did a background check to verify it, and sure enough; that’s what she was.
The main thing is people should be steering you back to having your own relationship with Jesus Christ, and talking directly to
God, and if they help you understand, that’s great, as Derek and others do. But God ultimately wants no one between you and Him. So let no human come between you when it comes right down to it. That’s why organizations in general are not what they seem. Fine, understand history and context, but the main ones, religions, especially those who call themselves “the true church”**, they are not, they add their own doctrine, and that is something Jesus was adamant that people do not do.
Derek didn’t add doctrines. He read from the Bible. He studied it very well over his lifetime. The thing is context, one phrase may be misunderstood if not read in the context, Who God or Jesus was speaking to and if it applies to everyone or if it just applied to only a certain group for certain reasons, these are things that are important to learn ... that’s why God says to study and read the Bible yourself and ask him to help you discern. But Derek and others have helped me get a jump start. Chuck Missler was good, too, especially for making scientific connections and giving context, how people lived at the time, and making sense of things as well. Just so long as God has the final say on what He meant to say, that’s they key :). Derek points out passages on how to go about it, and it’s very useful.
** There is no organized “true church”. A “church” never meant an organization or a building, it meant a collective of two or more people that follow the teachings. A “true church“ means a collective of two or more people that stay true to the teachings, and they don’t add their own doctrines. They are true and loyal. So the “true church“ the people around the world who are true to the Word. Loyal. Unwavering.
The true church are people who collectively follows the teachings and stay true to it whether or not they ever meet each other. Some are alone, they have no one locally, and have to meet online to have someone else to help in their faith, to be part of the church together. We are supposed to reach out to each other in person, and should try, but many have trouble finding true and loyal followers of the Word, as
Some want it to mean something that it doesn’t mean and doesn’t say. (Like praying to saints, Mary, or confessing to priests or a bishop, this is not asked of the people, God said not to do those things, make nomstsires or shrines, etc., do they may feel good about it, but God dies not feel good about it. Other religions say if you get that warm, fuzzy feeling then that’s when God is giving his OK about them being true. Nope God specifically says not to use your heart to determine, but to use His Word. It’s a big deal, because ultimately it’s the reasons that the Pharisees want it, demand it that the Romans kill Jesus for them. They specifically don’t like to get their hands dirty, and he kept calling them out on made up rules that they were making the people do, and exploiting the people. Jesus kept publicly telling them not to do that, tell him they weren’t supposed to add their own rules that made the bed and that’s ultimately why they wanted him killed.
Jesus was telling people to talk directly to God and that they didn’t need the priests. He was telling them they don’t need any middleman at all, but God wants a one on one relationship with you directly. This was running them out of business. And God doesn’t want himself to be a business. And Jesus is a gift, not a purchase.
Many people think that the Bible was made to “control the masses”, but it’s actually the opposite. It was written over time by different people before and during Jesus’s ones, to free the masses from the oppression of the rulers and controlling people of the world, and to explain how this realm works and so forth.
The “true church“ could never be an organized religion, because all the members of any organized religion do not all remain true to the teachings. The only way you can have “one true church” is if you see it as the spiritual church, a collective of everyone on earth who each remains true to the Word of God.

I went into church and with questions and when a man took me to a room to talk i saw his pornographic magazine felt uneasy and left. I walked out the door and it looked like a bank. I know God gave me the dream and I'll go one better! The pope and Catholicism are evil. Bowing to men who you call holy father is against all God considers right because he's the only father but since most Catholics use there catechism books or prayer beads and chant they'll never have salvation unless they repent for worshipping false idols and that's biblical fact! 😊 God bless you and we all should pray for all hearts to change.
