I mean shuffling is still decent but it’s boring af without the upper body movement. There are some decent dancers out there that I can appreciate, but the “no upper body” is a deal breaker
Its 2024. I cannot stop watching Eric for atleast 8 years now. We never had Liquid Raving in Sydney. We had some great raves and clubs but we never had liquid raving.
Still some of the best liquid I've seen. Love that he's not afraid to break distance with his hands or move his feet, and mixes in tutting and shuffling effortlessly.
The fluidity of Eric's flow is just sick. I have yet to see anyone who can make the fluid transitions he does. Just the leg locks is just.....well SICK!
my brother raved during these times, hes 35 now and gave me all of his rave pants including the ones that had glow stick slots built in. i wear them to every rave i go to, and get respect from ever older person there lol
+Dominic Pryor Nice xD It's such a weird phase you go through as a teen. I lvoe the shuffle. Haven't done it properly for years though sadly and I'm starting to question what to do with my phatties
2022. I check it out at least once every few months. Constant inspiration. This is LPE at his absolute finest - he actually ended up losing some of the smoothness in order to attain some level of "clean" liquid, which actually made his style worse.
alway in to phat bottom - was a sk8 thing - then rave thing. . . but then it got waaaaay out of hand. some looked like skirts. 46" - 50" was just ridiculous.
i can still dance like this when I am on X, but people at the club look at you weird now because no one dances like that anymore. They all just bonce and have one fist in the air, but I still do this and I don't care what people think. Usually everyone moves away from me at the club I am at.
Here people danced at house/jungle/bug beat night clubs nights like they did at raves. At DNB/Jungle nights people still dance like they did in the late 90's/early 2000 but yes lots of standing in on spot and rock concert hand in the air stuff.
Although I don't go out to clubs much a couple years ago I went to couple nights and danced my ass off, one was a Psy Tance night, one was techno. I got more wtf looks at the Psy one than at the Techno one where people started to watch me lol.
The 90's were the best moments of experimental, total dance. This guy captured, and perfected the true underground shuffle in its entirety. I wonder where he's at today. BRAVO.....BRAVO good sir.
He's me. I'm just finding out this video lives. I remember the random guy filming me, only talked to him for like 30 seconds. My Wife found this video of me a few months back. Ty for the admiration
I keep saying I need to make a video of myself dancing this old school way. Holy crap but i'm 44 now and it's getting harder. Gotta document this style. I love watching this video. It makes me think of the old days. I live in a town that doesn't have a scene AT.ALL!! Thank you for posting this and bringing back so many good memories!!
Watching this in September 2023 still inspiring he can still go in the club and have a crowd around him. The foot work alone is so tight and effortless
What's awesome here besides the moves, is how you get the feeling of being in a mid to late 90's club scene and the feel of some of the night clubs or after hours.
I remember seeing this vid somewhere in the end of the 90's awestruck and still am. And I miss the little illegal parties with acid-trance and progressive techno tracks like you hear here.
This is one of those feel good videos...his movements, the setting, the random arcade, the muffled song... I picture this taking place in some back alley basement somewhere. Super rad and wish I were there. :)
I hope E knows how much he has inspired dancers and clubbers all around the world, for quite a few years now with these videos and other Liquid Pop Collective videos, man I've been watching these videos for 20 years + and still there is no match to be found for fluid, rythmic, transitions. These videos inspired how I dance ro this day. Legendary my fren, legendary. ❤
