Really enjoyed watching the Tarantella performed never saw it in it's entirety . As a young girl growing up in an Italian family I used to do some of the steps of the Tarantella.

Es la primera vez que veo este baile por que alguien en un comentario sobre jota de Andorra decia que era parecido a la tarantela italiana. Creo que no tiene nada en que compararse, este baile es simplón y repetitivo. Creo que con esa música tan alegre se podría hacer algo más elegante.
Estoy de acuerdo contigo......Italia en este campo no es muy creativa al punto que no tiene un baile folkorico oficial como otros paises tienen........esto es todo........tomemolos con filosofia y a disfrutar el momento se ha dicho!!!!!!

Acdragonrider Videos it was once believed that the tarantella dance cured ppl that were bitten by a tarantula, hence the name. There are different versions of the tarantella in different regions of Italy. The most common one is the Napoletano one.
