Great video, Emily! I have an Anycubic M5S Pro and it rocks. Definitely an improvement over my first resin printer. Looking forward to more! That resin chain mail is wicked!! UPDATE: I printed out the chain mail in resin. Great for medieval applications! Thanks for sharing
Honestly, this printer worked so well out of the box. I haven't even done much tweaking with the default profile yet -- haven't really needed to. Way easier start up learning process than FDM in my opinion!
Hi there and thanks for the test-video. I've noticed you're using the AnyCubic slicer. Any reason you're not not using other slicers? Reason for me to ask is that I constantly hear "professionals" complaining about the PhotonSlicer, for it would not have decent features.... Are you satisfied with Anycubic slicer, could you elaborate on the why you would stick with it and not use third party slicers ? Thx.
Thanks for the review. I've had the M7 Pro for a couple of weeks now. The only thing I find a little tricky is first layer exposure times. It seems that the first layers get super hard at 25 seconds and could also be too warpy or non sticky at sub 10 second times. So I've taken to water based resins and submerge the whole build plate in hot water to remove my prints. Every else has been amazing about the machine.
I am really impressed with the quality of prints and how easy resin printing is now, I've got the original anycubic photon and am looking to upgrade, I cant decide if taking the lid on and off is a deal breaker. especially when Elegoo's new Saturn 5 has a much easier system.
Great review. Do you only recommend the high speed resin 2.0 for this printer? I heard that using standard resin with this printer there were many print fails cuz the resin hardens quickly due to heat and or print speed was a factor as well.
Do you have any odor issues? I have been meaning to try and print in my garage but haven't had the time to test it to see if the smell bleeds into the house or not.
Hello, good review. A question. Does it make a lot of noise when printing? I received mine a week ago and it is extremely noisy. I live in an apartment and I can't leave it running at night. Thanks
5:45 Only Z axis increase time. If you can put all in the XY plane the increse time is the how high it is the largest pieace. And i dont even have 3d printer resin, for the moment.
Anyone thinking about starting this... The consumables are really expensive compared to FDM. Basically 2x the cost of the printer to get your starting costs. You really NEED a respirator unless you're doing this in an open garage, also LOTS of gloves and paper towels and Isopropyl Alcohol. Don't forget some way to cure your parts.

Also my apologies for the echoey audio in the intro. The audio from my mic didn’t work out, so I had to use in camera audio.😭
Very cool review. the pros and cons make sense, the speed and quality is so impressive.

Awesome and honest review! Keep up the good work!
This makes me really get into resin printing, the printer looks really easy to use

Outstanding review that is articulate and well balanced.

Interesting!! Thank you for sharing your experience. I haven’t run into this issue, but this is great insight

Great review! I've been thinking of getting a resin printer, and this video helps a lot!

Really well done and informative video, Emily! (Scout may have stolen the show 😂)
Thank you so much, my friend! And lol, he just knows he's adorable!
What settings did u use, I currently have problems with mine :(
Bravo. Well done. Love the puppy.
thanks for review, what setup you used for high speed printing for this anycubic resin,? would be great if to mention that .
do you always have to use the wash and dry???? someone please answer 🙏

Yes is loud.
Man that's wild, I'm printing the skull now on my original Saturn and it's like... 8 hours?
Yeppp. That would’ve been a similar time to the printer I had before this. The speed is CRAZY
There’s a dog!! (The printer was cool too)
What about the most IMPORTANT downside which is you have to use the Anycubic Slicing software. This printer dosnt work with Lychee or other slicers.
You are right! The Anycubic software is really bad.
Not with this one it supports chitu and tango too
you look so beautiful 😭😭😭😭💗💗💗💗💗💗
What up fellow nerds

9 minutes is still impressive for the file imo!
