I've done Mt Talyerbelup and Bluff Knoll and they are quite the slog. Thanks for the filming of the trail.

Laura, you've now covered 3 of the WA hikes that I've always wanted to attempt. Thanks for these amazingly scenic and detailed videos! Even if I never get to walk them, at least I know what they look like 😊

I'm a South African, have never been to Australia, but watching your videos makes me feel I'm there! You won't believe how much these mountains look like the Cape Fold Mountains of South-western South Africa! You even have a few species of indigenous Proteas.

I've been to SA from Perth three times. There are some comparisons for sure, Tabletop is more genteel. The proteas and the banksia are related while the banksia is much more prolific.

Thankyou for the review. It provides me with a gorgeous armchair hike for a trail I had thought about doing but realistically now I know I do not have the skills to stay safe. I look forward to all your videos 😃

Awe, another adventure! Love seeing where you're hiking. Heading to Australia in November from the states, so this is wonderful.

Hi Laura. Was this Tasmania? Perhaps Wilson’s Prom in Victoria…I recognised the rocks with orange lichen. I’m Tasmanian, now living in Victoria. I had a Hyundai. Is that what you have? Love your work. Debbie

My friends and I are going to do this hopefully in the next months! Do you have a recommendation for time of year? Did you use any form of navigational aid like a smartwatch or gps device?

Definitely at the least take a personal locator beacon. Do your research on the trails path through online maps and as for time of year I'd go mid spring-early summer, clearer weather in that time and wild flower growth really adds to the visual of the trail. The water drum should also have been filled/flushed by the heavy rains over the winter so some nice fresh water but definitely carry enough when you set off and rely on the drum as a backup only.

Did you have to do a car drop for this hike? Or did you then walk back to the start?
