Since I first listened to “After Dark”, I’ve always thought the vocal cadence was a lot like “Dammit”. Turns out someone made the mash up come to life. My old band Skulk used to do a cover of After Dark. Kinda had a Deftones vibe.
When I listened to after dark by mr kitty I knew the dammit would be a great mashup and these guys did it!!! Completely blew my mind
I lost a friend from suicide back in October the day before my brothers birthday and after hearing him passed when I found this song I felt more sad for losing my friend but happy that he's in peace

I was never a Blink fan. I actually had to look it up to see what Dammit was originally. It was right in my era, but I just wasn’t into that style. Mr. Kitty is right up my alley though, and this mash up is fucking amazing. “I guess this is growing up.”

you know, i always found the differences between the many remixes interesting. after dark alone sounds contemplative, confused and slightly sullen - sweater weather and after dark always gave me this determined, vengeful vibe and this one sounds like the sort of falling resolution to the story, where everything just kind of slips away. hell of a song.

Happened to stumble across this on Instagram and it took me a few days to find out again. Song completely reminds me of graduating high school in 2006 when everything was like oh fuck what do I do now?
